The regular "Game Show Garbage" inductions ended September 26, 2015, with the induction of ''The Briefcase''. According to the official Facebook page, each year going forward would have approximately 5-6 inductions, including the annual Wayney Award. In 2018, the inductions expanded to a monthly format. Finally, Seidelman announced that she would stop doing inductions in late 2019, choosing instead to focus on her new project “Game Show Gumbo”, which focuses on game show news in a ''Series/TheSoup''-esque format, ending with the site’s 255th Induction (Seidelman stated she planned to end at 255 in reference to ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZelda'', namely its Rupee counter which maxes out at 255). The last induction, detailing the downfall of the quiz app ''HQ'', was released on October 18, 2019. However, at the end of 2020, Seidelman decided to bring it back with an induction on the 1978 version of ''Series/{{Jeopardy}}'', citing fan demand.
