''Tales from the Middle Kingdom'' is a {{webcomic}} based on the historical novel ''RomanceOfTheThreeKingdoms'' (&#19977;&#22283;&#28436;&#32681;), which describes the military and political turmoil in China at the end of the Han Dynasty (A.D. 169-290), when the country was divided into three states.
