The stories revolve around a central character named Gauthier who experiences these stories in a sort of virtual reality, he can be an active participant or simply an observer. Some of these stories will influence his life. The stories are mainly provided by Halloway, a charismatic recruiter who wants to convince him to work for him in exchange for those stories.
''Tales from the Interface'' came out of a love of short stories and science-fiction. Inspiration comes from Asimov, Poe, Lovecraft, Bradbury and old EC comics like ''Weird Fantasy'', ''The Haunt of Fear'', ''Tales from the Crypt'', etc.
The visual style varies slightly for every short stories.
