The Pixieverse is an interconnected anthology series created by [[https://www.deviantart.com/harlock-42 Harlock-42]]. It is made up of stories featuring such characters as the super heroine Blue Pixie, the witch Tara, the super villainess Demon Queen, and many others. A frequent theme of the stories is transformations, with many of the characters transformed into mannequins or garments.

Most of the stories take place in or around the city of Portland, Oregon, including reoccurring titles such as The DSC: Department of Supernatural Crimes, The Mannequinizer, Tara and Karl, and Evil Fashinostas. There are also frequent crossover series where people get [[TrappedInAnotherWorld isekaied]] to the magical land of Trivium, such as Getting Into Character, The Swarm, and Stolen Life.

----

! The Pixieverse contains examples of:

* AdaptiveAbility: [[spoiler: Detective Tamira]] has the innate ability to adapt to any magic used against her. Repeated small spells or one big one can render her immune to that particular magic. However particularly strong magic can overwhelm her resistances, [[ItOnlyWorksOnce the first time]], and it can take her months to recover.
* AllThereInThemanual: The character sheets reveal all sorts of information that doesn't otherwise appear in the comic, such as Blue Pixie's plasma breath.
* AndIMustScream: People turned into mannequins, statues, and garments are frequently shown to still be aware. Depending on the situation this could be enjoyable or a nightmare.
* BatmanGambit: Deconstructed. Darby tries to manipulate the Demon Queen into fighting [[spoiler: the witch Janet]] by pitting her against [[TheOnlyOneAllowedToDefeatYou Blue Pixie]]. This fails as she doesn't seem to care, but then [[spoiler: Janet foolishly]] [[DoNotTauntCthulhu taunts Cthulhu]]. Darby gets what she wants anyway.
* BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor: The premise of ''Wishes Granted''. Athena laments her lot in life to a woman she just met in a bar that was strangely not there the next day. [[spoiler: She and her husband find themselves in an alternate timeline where Nickolas is a woman with a nicotine addiction, but otherwise healthy, and Athena has a new, high paying job she may or may not be able to handle.]]
* BrilliantButLazy: The Demon Queen was able to turn her galleries into a successful business, but then got board of it. Still she didn't want to lose them, so she hired Darby run them for her after they started losing money.
* CantKillYouStillNeedYou: A non-lethal example, as Darby's contract prevents the Demon Queen from killing her, but she is prevented from permanently petrifying her as she manages her finances. As punishment for turning her into a mannequin for a month, she turns Darby into a wall hanging for 30 days, but Darby gives her a week before she needs her for something.
* ChromeChampion: Steel Baroness has steel skin.
* CityOfAdventure: Portland, Oregon has multiple super villains, witches of both aliments, and assorted monsters. People are frequently getting turned into mannequins or garments or something and there appears to be a rift to another world nearby. Stories not set in Trivium will normally take place in Portland.
* {{Crossover}}: ''Getting Into Character'' features several online personas from Website/DeviantArt. [[https://www.deviantart.com/kelannpoole Kelsey]], [[https://www.deviantart.com/nicolepuppet Nicole]], [[https://www.deviantart.com/posyomismo Sam]], and Victor sit down for a game of Mountains and Monsters, with Victor substituting but in universe and out for another player who dropped out at the last minute. The four of them find themselves transported to the [[https://www.deviantart.com/master-geass/gallery/57814094/trivium-universe magical land of Trivium]]. Several characters from the Trivium-universe appear.
** ''Blue Pixie & Mirage: Interrupted'' features the super heroines Blue Pixie and [[https://www.deviantart.com/toy-soldier-kelsey Mirage]] planning on going on patrol together.
* DealWithTheDevil: David Walsh signs a contract with Lisa Kimura, who in fact is the Demon Queen. He certainly wasn't happy as to what came next.
* DoNotTauntCthulhu: Janet boasts she could defeat the Demon Queen on live television. Goes about as well as you'd expect.
* DirtyCop: Braxton has a cop on his payroll to give him early warning or delay dispatch if that doesn't work.
* FirstLawOfGenderBending: A large number of named males get turned into females, permanently more often than not, but the only time a woman turned into a guy involved a body swap.
* ForgotAboutHerPowers: More like forgot about her gear. Ilyana gets into a bar fight and doesn't remember she could of just summoned her military grade armor until after it is over.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Ivan is a thug who was fine with working for Braxton when he was just fencing stolen art, but that changed after he slowly became more unhinged, [[spoiler: smashing some of the people he petrified into rubble. He was partially disturbed to learn they were still conscious during this.]]
* EvilIsNotAToy: Braxton's amulet gave him magical powers, but it slowly corrupted him.
* EvilSorceress: Lilly is a powerful sorceress who frequently does morally questionable acts to put it mildly. Still she also dabbles in PragmaticVillainy and is generally not a threat to the people of Portland. If you come to her world on the other hand...
* ExactWords: You would think a demon would be a bit more GenreSavvy, but the Demon Queen told Darby to “Do what you feel is needed.” while delegating an undesirable task to her. [[spoiler: It took her a month to come back from that.]]
* ForWantOfANail: If she hadn't dropped out at the last minute, Cindy would of become Ilyana instead of Victor. She would of handled the situation much differently and would of fled from the orcs. This likely would of resulted in the whole party being killed or captured.
* GenderBender: Several men get turned into women, permanently more often than not. It might be easier to list the men who don't get turned into women than do.
* TheGhost: Cindy is only mentioned, her absence effecting the plot of ''Getting Into Character''.
* GovernmentAgencyOfFiction: The Department of Supernatural Crimes deals in the magical cases that seem to plague Portland. Unfortunately they are severely understaffed in this dimension and the sole detective has to pull backup from other departments.
* GrandTheftMe: The basic plot of ''Stolen Life'' is Maylin forcing Conner to [[FreakyFridayFlip swap bodies]] with her without warning.
* GreaterScopeVillain: Having been the one to summon them, [[spoiler: Lilly Smith]] is effectively responsible for everything that happens to the ''Getting Into Character'' crew since arriving on Trivium.
* HappilyMarried: Tara and Karl seem quite loving in their relationship, even with all the transformations.
* HappinessInSlavery: [[spoiler: Ilyanan]] never wanted to become a slave, but was able to find joy and even marriage in it.
** Isla seems to be rather over eager to be the slave of [[spoiler: a medusa]]. May have something to do with the company she kept before.
* HateSink: Panros lobbies for beating information out of Tara she may or may not have and selling her into slavery just because she happened to chat with a woman who is after the same thing they are. This results in a HumiliationConga.
* HeroicSacrifice: After an orc ambush [[spoiler: Ilyana]] stays behind to give her friends time to escape and goes down swinging when she is no longer able to contain them. [[spoiler: This results in her being enslaved and sold to Lilly.]]
* HyperCompetentSidekick: Darby is far more skilled at management than the Demon Queen and is able to make her front companies turn a profit again. Fortunately she didn't intend on signing up to be the right hand of a super villain and wrangles in her boss' more violent behavior.
* ImmortalitySeeker: The reason why [[spoiler: Lilly has been summoning people from Earth and transforming them is to research immortality, using them as a control group as she tries to reverse engineer what makes certain races live so long. Unlike most examples this is not for herself, already being several centuries old, but for her harem.]]
* LaserGuidedKarma: A number of people get their comeuppance as a result of their actions. A pair of women commit robberies on Halloween, using Trick or Treating as a cover, and bully a third woman into helping them. People are getting suspicious, but they keep doing it anyway. The next house they target happens to be home to a medusa. The pair wake up November 3rd at the docks feeling stiff.
* TheLittleShopThatWasntThereYesterday: Athena visits a pub that she was surprised to see open after the recent fire damage where she talked to a woman about her life. After something weird happens she returns to the bar the next day only to find it's back to being closed and clearly in need of new paint.
* MadeASlave: The orcs sell [[spoiler: Ilyana]] into slavery. Fortunately they are valued for their skills.
* MagicallyBindingContract: Darby's contract with the Demon Queen works both ways and she is prevented from killing Darby or putting her in a position to be killed.
* {{Medusa}}: The Halloween episodes have one. Then there is Sgt. Valmoria on Trivium.
* NobleDemon: Lilly maybe a sociopath who will abduct and experiment on [[WouldntHurtAChild adults]], but she will [[IgaveMyWord honor her bargains]] and will not harm a guest in her house. Generally she prefers to keep casualties to a minimum.
* OlderThanTheyLook: Heather stated she has worked in the medical wing for 40 years and her bio states she was 18 and human when she first came to the castle, yet she looks to be in her late 20's. Justified as she spends half her time as a statue and Lilly has made different modifications to slow down her aging.
* OhCrap: [[spoiler: Judy the maid]] when she realizes the mannequin she was screwing around with is actually her employer and she has inadvertently trapped her overnight.
* OneSteveLimit: Subverted. There are two Maries, two Judies, and two Darbies. None of them interact with each other though.
* OneWingedAngel: The Demon Queen can turn herself into a 14ft tall demon, not that she has ever used that form against Pixie, as she normally remains an average human height.
* PoliceAreUseless: Law enforcement seems out of it's depth with dealing all the magic related disappearances. The DSC, the one department meant to combat such crimes, has only one detective who lacks any way of telling if the mannequin in front of her used to be a person or not. It doesn't help that Braxton has someone on [[DirtyCop the force in his pocket]].
* MistakenForCheating: When the Demon Queen finds Blue Pixie was meeting with fellow heroine Mirage to go on patrol together she believes she is cheating on her... [[InsaneTrollLogic somehow]].
* MuggingTheMonster: A trio treasure hunters threaten [[spoiler: Tara Hodges]] at knife point, making her walk into the woods were there were no witnesses and try to force information out of her. They seemed surprised she was a witch.
** Hellion tries to rob Lisa Kimura, unaware she is the civilian identity of the Demon Queen. Darby tries to get her to at least play along until they are inside.
* NoChallengeEqualsNoSatisfaction: The Demon Queen loves turning Blue Pixie into her trophy and has done so several times, but simply hand her Pixie that someone else has already incapacitated and she will quickly lose interest.
* SecretSecretKeeper: Darby has figured out Blue Pixie's secret identity, but hasn't told anyone, not even her boss. Granted the Demon Queen [[SecretIdentityApathy doesn't want to know]].
* SingleTargetSexuality: Tara isn't bi, but as a witch her perception isn't exactly skin deep, so she is attracted to her husband regardless of if he is currently a man, a woman, or [[ItMakesSenseInContext a bra]].
* TakenForGranite: A number of characters get turned to stone or into mannequins. It is a fairly common event.
* TrappedInAnotherWorld: Kelsey, Nicole, Sam, and Victor find themselves transported to Trivium and are unable to find their way back.
* VetinariJobSecurity: Darby stabs the Demon Queen in the back the first chance she gets. However she was able to get her galleries to turn a profit again while [[ItMakesSenseInContext Demon Queen was trapped in a clothing store]] so she has to keep her around. It helps that she was secretly she was able to sucker punch her like that, but she was going to punish her ether way.
* VillainessesWantHeroes: The Demon Queen has a thing for Blue Pixie. The feeling is not mutual.
