Communication Media Comic (shortened to Commedia, a reference to the renaissance play CommediaDellArte) work-in-progress webcomic made by Tropers/MasterJayAM, [[WriteWhatYouKnow who happened to be a mass communications major]], the series focuses on the AnthropomorphicPersonifications of media channels, drawing story lines and gags from the history of the media and the real-life relationships and issues faced by media practitioners today. A series with [[LoadsAndLoadsOfCharacters over 30 characters]] representing a media format or an associated technology or industry. * AllLoveIsUnrequited: Well, most of it anyways.

* ArtShift: Constantly. The first page and second page have this in spades.
** NoFourthWall: Internet [[LampshadeHanging gives the artist an earful]] [[SelfDeprecation for being a sloppy artist]]; on the first page, no less.

* AnthropomorphicPersonification

* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: All of the characters will end up with jerkass moments. Thus many of them would fit this trope.

* NoFourthWall: Pretty much the point, especially when it involves Internet.

* OlderThanTheyLook: Most of the media channels invented prior to the 19th Century have this. Comic is an egregious offender; he looks like an EmoTeen, but is physically in his 20s and is older than Television. Averted with Telegraphy.
** Averted with Telegraphy, who is [[YoungerThanTheyLook much younger]] than many of the other media but [[IWasQuiteALooker has visibly aged]]. This is grounded in wire telegraphy being a largely forgotten medium in real life.
* SiblingYinYang: There are blood siblings in this series of media channels that share a common history or technology. Therefore their differences are TruthInTelevision:
** The Film Siblings (Cinema and Photography); one likes movement, the other stillness. although they're amicable, they're not close.

* TeensAreShort: Averted with Internet, who is actually taller than his father [=ComputerTech=]. His sister Arpanet is even taller.

** NewMediaAreEvil: Ditto, in particular [[TeensAreMonsters Internet]], who is basically acts like a troll.
*** Sadly, there's no trope for "all media are jerks."

Its premise is loosely inspired by Manga/AxisPowersHetalia and other similar comics. It is heavily influenced by the author's own time spent at [[SugarWiki/TVTropesWillEnhanceYourLife TV Tropes]]. [[FollowTheLeader The author wanted to give]] AnthropomorphicPersonifications a shot and looked for one that the people at Website/DeviantArt haven't already tried.
