This is one of the few episodes he shows himself to be okay with an ending where the bad guy wins, as it allows the villain to deliver just desserts to these two.

** During his ''Next Mutation'' retrospective, he points out constantly how poorly written, both character-wise and [[IdiotBall Inteligence]]-[[TookALevelInDumbass wise]], the Turtles and Splinter are. And sees them as one of, if not ''the'', worst incarnations of the franchise. Even beating out the 1987 Turtles' portayal in ''Turtles Forever''.

** There's a moment of this in ''JackFrost1997'' with regards to the scene where the title character rapes a woman to death with his carrot nose, which is PlayedForLaughs.
