* AnAesop:
** In 2015 and 2016, Monte Fjanton collaborated with the organisation UR (Sweden's main educational broadcasting company) to create three comedic sketches promoting smarter studying in school. ** While having an OldShame (or a dozen) may bring you intense humiliation, the benefits of developing your creative skills heavily outweigh the downsides of the old shames you will inevitably create in the beginning. Recognizing something you did in the past was cringeworthy is a sign that you've grown since then and learned from your mistakes, and if nothing else, YouAreNotAlone - everyone has done something equally if not more embarrassing themselves.

* SeinfeldIsUnfunny[[invoked]]: Felix argues that this is the reason ''Film/ShowMeLove'' was the winner of a poll deciding which movie he should review during December 2013; while the film is relatively well-made, it created the mold for Swedish YA fiction during the TurnOfTheMillennium, leading to this trope happening to people exposed to YA fiction made during this time period.

** Lampshaded when Felix reviews ''15: det är mitt liv''. Since his reviews about the series are heavy on the snarky comedic commentary and some of the episodes tackle pretty heavy topics, he ends up saying "so, uh... [[GratuitousEnglish Funny jokes coming up!!]]" in a rather distressed tone before tackling one of the worse episodes[[note]]in terms of subject matter[[/note]] with a BlackComedyBurst. On the other hand he also criticises the {=YouTube=] comments that try to pull off black comedy themselves and do so poorly:

* ShippingGoggles[[invoked]]: While Felix is more likely to point out examples of actual romance done badly, he occasionally goes the other way:
** When reviewing ''9 millimeter'', he reads a lot of subtext into the relationship between Malik and Ruiz.[[note]]calling them "Paolo" and "Kalle" in the process[[/note]]
** Felix also jokes about shipping Mata Nui and Merus in ''{{Toys/Bionicle}}: Legenden Återuppstår'' after an exchange where Mata Nui angrily growls that "I already have everything I want... You," complete with adding a rose-tinted layer over the screen and playing a love song.[[note]]For context, Mata Nui had just defeated Merus in battle and Merus was begging for his life, saying Mata Nui could have anything he wanted.[[/note]]

** Being requested to review things that don't fit his criteria is also a sore spot for him. For a film to be considered being reviewed for Felix Recenserar, it has to be Swedish (or dubbed to Swedish), it has to be a film and it has to be bad. Though he has reviewed a few tv series and a few movies he believes to be good, those reviews are still very rare, and he has only deviated from the criteria of a movie having to be Swedish/dubbed to Swedish exactly twice, and even then, one of the times, it was due to EarlyInstallmentWeirdness. Felix has stated that his focus on Swedish films is what puts him apart from other [[VideoReviewShow Video Review Shows]], and without that, there's nothing that would make Felix Recenserar interesting compared to similar shows. [[spoiler:It bothers him so much that at one point, he even made an April Fools review of the first ''Film/{{Twilight}}'' movie, where he's off camera most of the video, not even watching the movie, then ending the video with emphasizing that he will never review ''Twilight'', nor ''Film/TheRoom'' or any other foreign films that haven't been dubbed to Swedish.]]

* TheDanza: In the review for ''Blå Måndag'', a movie where actress Eva Röse's character is also named Ewa, just with a W instead of a V, Felix says that it feels weird when the actor and character share the same name and that it makes the other characters come more across as talking to Eva Röse rather than the character she plays, ruining the illusion.

* NauseaFuel[[invoked]]: Basses Rätt i Skafferiet takes this trope and [[UpToEleven runs a marathon with it]], with the sight of people spitting food out (with or without saliva) being a selling point.

* BlackComedy: ''Mystikhörnan'' rarely shies from cracking jokes, even when the group desecrates a grave in season 2... And the coffin turns out to be made of plywood because "it was either this or dumping [them] in a ditch."

* CreatorInJoke: Some of the running gags are this, most notably the use of the word "gräta" (which is a corruption of gråta, the Swedish word for cry). It originally came from a friend of the members, and they ended up using it as well, eventually turning it into a running gag.

* InsaneTrollLogic: Most of the theories that appear in Mystikhörnan run on this.

* RunningGag: As Felix and Basse are fond of using {{Call Back}}s to previous episodes, some turn into outright running gags with time. And they do this a ''lot''. Examples include:
** In Felix Recenserar, saying that the movie ends before it actually does, then cutting to the credits with [[Film/Scarface1983 Push it to the Limit]] playing in the background (harking back to the very first episode).
** Felix' love for Swedish celebrity Harald Treutiger is brought up often.
** Felix has a habit of explaining plot holes in the movies he reviews using off-the-wall theories, which may get questioned by Basse.
** [[Creator/DingoPictures Komo's death scene]] appears very frequently in Felix Recenserar, to the point that it was one of the main running gags before Felix had actually seen the movie in the first place.
** In Basses Rätt i Skafferiet, mustard powder almost always finds it way into the recipe.
** In Felix Recenserar, every time that a character dies, "I Will Remember You" by Sarah Mclachlan will be played over an "obituary" for the character.
** In the {{Julekalender}} reviews, Felix will wear the same shirt for the first 23 episodes, only changing to another for the last episode. This may or may not be lampshaded.
** The word "skvättika"[[labelnote:translation]]A pun which combines the words "skvätt ättika", which mean roughly "a splash of spirit vinegar", into one[[/labelnote]] shows up a lot in Basses Rätt i Skafferiet.
** There are also many mentions of "the concentrated/copyrighted BRIS taste", a taste so fundamentally disgusting that it prompts reactions like spitting or gagging.
** In Felix Recenserar, the phrase "it starts with a cigarette, right", which makes fun of movies that utilize ScareEmStraight. It's often accompanied with a purple, contrasted filter and dramatic music, and may or may not be followed up with the outlandish consequences of smoking said cigarette.

** While reviewing films by Dingo Pictures, Felix has a tendency to re-use the clip of a nun from their take on ''Hunchback of Notredame'' saying "vanskapt apa" (misshapen ape) to describe other OffModel characters.

** The members are from Scania, a part of Sweden that's easily described as the Swedish equivalent to Texas. Naturally, this is brought up time to time, through joking around with stereotypes about Scanian people and/or exaggerating their Scanian accents.

* FunnyBackgroundEvent: Felix loves these, to the point of him pointing them out has become a CouchGag in Felix Recenserar.

* RogerRabbitEffect: The ''Djurens konung'' review features an animated Wabuu interacting with Felix. Subject to a bit of StylisticSuck, as they're only in the same frame a few times during the review, and Wabuu is characteristically poorly-animated.

** Felix has a habit of explaining plot holes in the movies he reviews using off-the-wall theories which may get questioned by Basse.

* ShippingGoggles: While Felix is more likely to point out examples of romance done badly, he occasionally goes the other way:
