** Johnny towards [[GravityScrew anti-gravity]] and [[SlippySlideyIceWorld ice gimmicks]] in [[PlatformGame platformers]], as well as [[UnderTheSea deep underwater areas]]. Although his hate of underwater areas is more of a childhood fear created by ''VideoGame/EccoTheDolphin''. If His review on his personal channel is to be taken into account, Johnny also seems to hate ''Metroid Prime 2: Echoes''.
** Ted towards [[VideoGame/PokemonDiamondandPearl Generation 4 of Pokémon]]. Justified because he finds its battle system to be unbalanced compared to Gen 3 and considers the designs poor. The main crew members in general aren't too fond of Gen 4 (except the Gen 2 remakes), but Ted is the most vocal about his hatred of the Sinnoh games.
** He seems to have a grudge against the whole ''Legend of Zelda'' franchise in general especially Zelda 1, this is partly due to the frustration Majora's Mask caused him as a kid giving him a bad impression on the franchise. Subverted in the ''Ocarina of Time'' commentary, as he has stated it's a good game, but feels that it is highly overrated. To be fair with his Zelda 1 bias, he had a [[EpicFail very]] [[GuideDangIt hard]] [[ButtMonkey time]] recording it.
** He is also quite vocal about his dislike for ''VideoGame/{{Earthbound}}''. Justified because he finds the graphics poor and the instrument quailty in the music terrible along with the dull battle system. He also had some bad experiences with Earthbound fans. Despite this, he has stated that Ness was one of his favorite characters in "VideoGame/SuperSmashBrosBrawl".
** Three of the main members seem to have preferred consoles, each on one end of the big three competitors. This occurs even if there are better versions of the game they are playing. Johnny, whenever possible, always goes for the 360 version of a game. Ryan prefers the PS3, and Ted will ONLY play games on Nintendo systems, no exceptions (sans Steam,) going as far as to say he would refuse a Sony system if it was GIVEN to him. He now, out of nowhere, has a PS3.

** In the ''[[VideoGame/SonicTheHedgehog2006 Sonic '06]]'' commentary, Solaris said "Fastly" instead of "Quickly", but no-one called him out on it. It should be noted that in that same part, Solaris said that "Sonic does it, by the power of Teleportion".
** The intro crawl for the ''Sonic 4'' commentary (see the below example of "Incredibly Lame Pun") was redone many, many times as Solaris fussed over inconsequential grammatical aspects and wording issues. Ted tries to explain that jump-cut as a new recording, but the damage has been done.

If His review on his personal channel is to be taken into account, Johnny also seems to hate ''Metroid Prime 2: Echoes''.
** Ted towards [[VideoGame/PokemonDiamondandPearl Generation 4 of Pokémon]]. Justified because he finds its battle system to be unbalanced compared to Gen 3 and considers the designs poor. The main crew members in general aren't too fond of Gen 4 (except the Gen 2 remakes), but Ted is the most vocal about his hatred of the Sinnoh games.
** He seems to have a grudge against the whole ''Legend of Zelda'' franchise in general especially Zelda 1, this is partly due to the frustration Majora's Mask caused him as a kid giving him a bad impression on the franchise. Subverted in the ''Ocarina of Time'' commentary, as he has stated it's a good game, but feels that it is highly overrated. To be fair with his Zelda 1 bias, he had a [[EpicFail very]] [[GuideDangIt hard]] [[ButtMonkey time]] recording it.
** He is also quite vocal about his dislike for ''VideoGame/{{Earthbound}}''. Justified because he finds the graphics poor and the instrument quailty in the music terrible along with the dull battle system. He also had some bad experiences with Earthbound fans. Despite this, he has stated that Ness was one of his favorite characters in "VideoGame/SuperSmashBrosBrawl".
** Three of the main members seem to have preferred consoles, each on one end of the big three competitors. This occurs even if there are better versions of the game they are playing. Johnny, whenever possible, always goes for the 360 version of a game. Ryan prefers the PS3, and Ted will ONLY play games on Nintendo systems, no exceptions (sans Steam,) going as far as to say he would refuse a Sony system if it was GIVEN to him. He now, out of nowhere, has a PS3.
