This trope applies specifically to [[OurDemonsAreDifferent Artemis and Priscilla]], [[Anime/SonicX Cosmo]] and Ivy, [[CatGirl Tori]], [[SnakePeople Saru]], and [[HarpingOnAboutHarpies Uma]]. Inu and Damien can qualify for Cute Monster Boys.

** Esther starts off in this boat once she gets hit with a late growth spurt but eventually moves out when she gains a positive body image.
* DeathByIrony: Attempted by Matt. [[Videogame/{{Bomberman}} Regulus]] (known as Bulzeeb at the time) was a boss with TWO InstantKill attacks in ''Bomberman 64: The Second Attack'', and gets attacked with an instant kill. It doesn't work, however, because it's Matt.

* DisproportionateRetribution: [[spoiler:Altair plans complete and total genocide and CessationOfExistence for the inhabitants of hell, both present and future, for the sole fact that [[HornyDevil Artemis]] fell in love with him]].

** In the roleplays, Matthew also acts like this, eventually becoming a LoveMartyr once Uma starts attacking him and he STILL tries to win her favor.

** Out of the Demon Lords, Gloria, the Demon Lord to be of Gluttony, is considered the worst even by her peers as she sees the world entirely as "food" and "not food".

* EveryoneHasStandards: Even Artemis finds the idea of enchanting underwear to be to ludicrous.

* FunnyAnimal/PettingZooPeople: As a Sonic fan comic this is a given.

** After Snake-jaw utterly destroys Esther's [[ClothingDamage shirt and bra]] while trying to kill her, Artemis supplies her with a new pair to which Esther immediately questions if the underwear has a perverted enchantment. Artemis quickly points out that it's just an [[BreastInflation inflatable bra]] and calls the idea of magic underwear stupid.

* GagBoobs: The Head Maid is often the butt of this type of physical humor, while ironically being the SMALLEST compared to the others listed here. The even bustier Eloria also finds herself in this category [[HiddenBuxom no matter how much she tries to hide it]]. Caroline and Rosa are also in this category, especially Rosa, who is the bustiest character by virtue of being a G cup. Strangely, Synder doesn't count despite having the 3rd biggest bust.

* GoodIsDumb: Matt frequently makes mistakes on subjects he doesn't fully understand. One noticeable example was thinking his daughter Uma's name meant "sheep".

** The [=RPs=] avert this even further, as there are two people named Rebecca, Damien, Altair, Artemis, Marcus, and Matthew. Even funnier is that both Matthews have a relationship with Uma (one is her father, the other is her wannabe boyfriend).

** Gloria is considered very dangerous by most of the cast because they'd prefer NOT to be hit with potions brewed by a genius witch.

* ComplainingAboutRescuestheyDontLike: Inu and Uma constantly give snarky or outright hurtful comments to whoever rescues them. About the nicest reaction was [[http://comments.deviantart.com/1/586779249/4145498522 Inu's actual surprise that Annie and Anastasia healed him from near-death.]]

* TheDreaded: Demon Lord rank demons tend to be this with the Astartes being the main exception(Most of the time). On the other hand, Luke is this to the Demon Lords for simply being that powerful.

* DudeNotFunny: In-universe example with ''VideoGame/KatamariDamacy''. Sort of. Lucy has a nerve struck by Collin saying getting [[ItRunsOnNonsensoleum rolled up by a Katamari and turned into a star before poofing back into existence]] is weird, as she was in a [[VideoGame/SuperMarioGalaxy much less goofy and comedic version of the same incident]]. She seems fine with letting The Prince go about his star-making business, though.

* OurDragonsAreDifferent: Dragons in this series are a lot more like [[WingedHumanoid winged humanoids]] with horns and tails than giant lizards, and that's just Synder's species.

* HeelRealization: [[spoiler: A despairing Matt has one when Cosmo says he's like a villain and he realizes he can't counter her point]].

** Torch tries this with Inu in the roleplays. It does not end well.

* LeanAndMean: Artemis is rail thin and getting on her bad side is an easy way to ruin your life.
* LegionOfDoom: The main comics don't really have one, but in the roleplays, the League of Villains definitely qualifies. Led by SelfDemonstrating/{{Bowser}}, its other members include Dr. Eggman (who is TheDragon), Grodus, Cackletta, Mysto, Mephiles, SelfDemonstrating/{{Ganondorf}}, and Andross. Interestingly, while Bowser is officially the leader (having founded the group in the first place), and Bowser's Castle is their main base of operations, in practice, its members take turns being in charge, with the one who came up with the current EvilPlan acting as the figurehead. And the League of Villains is ''not'' the entire RoguesGallery, not by a long shot.

* {{Leitmotif}}: Each character Bio usually has a link to a song the cartoonist thinks characterizes them. Characters also can end up getting more than one, with Dark Matt and Artemis having three in total (Normal, [[OneWingedAngel "Tr]][[ClippedWingAngel ue"]], and Adult).

** Subverted in Priscilla's case as her light powers are literally light, not holy.
* LoveCannotOvercome: As much as Matthew tries to reassure Uma that he'd save her from people like Mysto or Wrapsodi, Uma constantly uses them as major reasons why she refuses to be his girlfriend. That and she's convinced that it wouldn't be just them getting hit with his [[SquashedFlat go to strategy]].

** The [[VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys Fazbear gang]] are radically simpler in design, with Freddy and Bonnie noticeably missing their muzzles, Chica's mouth is shown as being closed, and Foxy's head is... weird to say the least. All in all, it makes them significantly more comedic looking, ignoring their large blank eyes of course.

* PregnantBadass: Synder is shown in almost every scene as being heavily pregnant, as she is a surrogate mother. She is also a [[InstantAwesomeJustAddDragons dragon, which speaks for itself]].
** Many female characters in the roleplays become this, mostly because the bad guys REALLY want to make sure they don't give birth.

* RealityEnsues: During the Mogeko Castle RP arc, Dream theorizes that King mogeko might be tormenting Ne's mind directly [[spoiler:just like the way he does it to Yonaka in the good ending for ''VideoGame/MogekoCastle'']], and suspects that Miriam might try killing the king to fix Ne's mind. When confronted, King mogeko states that [[spoiler:he'd never "play" with another guy; Ne's fear is purely from the events in the castle. King mogeko ''is'', however, artificially sustaining that fear in order to use Ne as bait in order to get Miriam.]]
** As it turns out, trying to make a(albeit pretty mature) four year old horny is a very good way to creep them out and dislike a person. Leila can only say "oops" to that idea.

** Of course, Dream and Damien, Justin and Ivy, and Maxmillian and Esther are crossover examples of this being played straight (to varying degrees of straight).

** The roleplays in general have a large number of running gags, including Mysto being called a witch (she's a sorceress and [[UnequalRites insists on being addressed as such]]), Luigifan (the character) being hilariously inappropriate, Garcia acting as the CloudcuckoolandersMinder,
** (post-time-skip) Matthew's [[AccidentalPervert accidental lewdness]] around Uma, and Ne constantly forgetting who Miriam is.
** Tharja and "Mr.Grimmy" are always hidden somewhere in the VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening comics when the Tactician or Morgan are involved respectively.

** The future Arc introduces Caroline. A TARANTULA drider whose subspecies seems to be more human sized.

* StarfishLanguage: The demon alphabet is composed of lines, dashes and dots. Their speech is described as more like a screeching noise than actual talking.

* TookALevelInKindness: Collin after the timeskip is a lot nicer now that he understands the repercussions of his actions. This doesn't quite apply to most women, however, as he also takes a level in gynophobia.

* HeelRealization: [[spoiler: A despairing Matt has one when Tori says he's like a villain and he realizes he can't counter her point]].

* LoveCannotOvercome: As much as Matthew tries to reassure Uma that he'd save her from people like Mysto or Wrapsodi, Uma constantly uses them as major reasons why she refuses to be his girlfriend. That and she's convinced that it wouldn't be just them getting hit with his [[RocksFallEveryoneDies go to strategy]].

An amateur webcomic by a Website/DeviantArt user dubbed "pommyman". The medium was originally (bad) fan fiction, but then progressed to ms paint and from there to decent hand drawings, with the story changing as well on occasion as the cartoonist gets better at story telling. The story itself is a fan fiction but is unfortunately rather missing in favor of shenanigans that don't follow much of a sense of time. The actual plot itself is about Matthew Mokaray, who unfortunately fell off a building during a field trip before the whole thing even started. Due to being lackluster all in all, he is split into two parts: one going to heaven, the other to hell. What follows is his training to become the guardian angel of an alternate [[Anime/SonicX Cosmo]] and keep the demonic half of him and his girlfriend Artemis from terrorizing the poor plant girl. HilarityEnsues between fighting the "evil" Dark Matt and dealing with the resident fool, Collin.

* GreaterScopeVillain: [[spoiler:As annoying as Dark Matt is, he is upstaged by Altair's villainy. Altair had been going behind the scenes absorbing redeemed sinners, planning to use the power boost from them to destroy hell itself, which would turn it into an [[CessationofExistence empty void.]]]]

* ItOnlyWorksOnce: [[spoiler:Ne's [[VideoGame/{{Undertale}} Dreamer]] Ne ability is borderline godlike to the point that only something that breaks the rules of the world has a chance of outclassing him. However, it requires so much more power than Ne will ever have that it's only because of [[EldritchAbomination what he's fighting]] that it even becomes reality at all.]].

*** And how could we forget the first time this happened and eventually led to all the rps? Galaxina's Inside Story is a WholePlotReference to [[MarioAndLuigiBowsersInsideStory]].

* FluffyCloudHeaven: Seemingly averted. The Heaven we see with Galaxina and her family is a seedrian-built city, with grassy plains all around, though it has been mentioned that there is MORE than one Heaven, one of which is presumably this trope.

** Caroline is an odd example. She has a reasonable(if gloomy) personality and is only in this position because her "friends" are all either jerks or see her as nothing but a tool to use.

* AprilFoolsDay: The day before April Fools of 2016 pommyman said that he'd post critical character information in the next post. It was obviously a joke with Ne supplanting his own facts after stealing pommyman's comic.

* BrainyBaby: Priscilla is only a year old and can talk, but that pales to Inu and Uma, who started math at that same age.

* BuxomIsBetter: Rosa and Caroline, as foils to [[DCupDistress The Maid and Eloria]] are proud of their large breasts, though Caroline is mostly indifferent to the matter.

** Unfortunately, Kris takes up this role for the post timeskip comics. Of course, this is because his main traits as a demon are lust and pride, so he's at his strongest as long as he fulfils this trope.

* DealWithTheDevil: Persons of interest to Dark Matt often get bargains from him. Naturally, the cost is a HUGE drop in karma at [[HumiliationConga WORST]].

* LethalHarmlessPowers: Collin's power (once "Chase" wakes up) is being able to touch the untouchable and pass through solid objects. Did we mention this power was inspired by Tyki Mikk and as such, allows Collin to ignore any and all defenses his opponents have? He was even able to tear Snake-Jaw out of Maxmillian, a task deemed impossible for even '''[[RealityWarper DARK MATT]]'''!

* LogicalWeakness: The series itself has one in the weekend. Why? Because the cartoonist doesn't have a scanner at his father's house.
** Which has recently been completely undone, as there was a compatible scanner there the whole time.

* OldShame: The cartoonist doesn't like his first attempt at fanfiction and his overuse of "baka" in early comics. Averted with his first comic series, which he still finds amusing.
