** Non comedic example happens during Skull battle with German Pinscher, when Skull ends the fight by stabbing Pinscher through head destroying the eye.

* LoveConfession: Main premise of manhwa, Sahu goal is to find his crush Ju-Hyeon and confess his feeling to her, so he could find peace with himself.

* MadeOfIron: All of zombies are much more resilient than normal humans and can take a lot of damage, due to already being dead. That said, they have a limit and if they take too much damage they will die for real.

* MoodWhiplash: Happens very often. It's both [[PlayedForDrama Played For Drama]] and [[PlayedForLaughs Played For Laughs]].

* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Sahu's friend Skull is usuallyrefereed to as simply "Skull" or "Ajeossi", his real name is not known by anyone.
* PetTheDog: German Pincher taking care of Ju-Hyeon after Sahu left her, and becoming her [[TheCaretaker caretaker]]. He insists that he's taking care of her only because she's a human not zombie, but after he grows to care for her more and doesn't mind her becoming a zombie so long it will save her from dying from terminal disease.
** He also spared the hanged zombie girl he encountered, however he made it clear that he only did it because she's hanged and if she ever get's down, he'll kill her.
* PleaseDontLeaveMe: As Sahu and Skull board the train to leave the city, [[spoiler: Ju-Hyeon starts running after him desperately begging him to return, and make her remaining days easier]]. He [[KickTheDog still]] [[TearJerker leaves]].
* PleaseWakeUp: As Sahu dies from wounds he got by saving Ju-Hyeon, she begs him to wake up.

* TwoFaced: The lower left half of Sahu's face has rotted away, giving him this look. However, he averts the usual implications of this trope as he's a [[ClassicalAntihero flawed-but-sympathetic]] NiceGuy instead of a villain. (Nor does it make him any less of a [[PrettyBoy White-Haired Pretty Boy]].)

* YouRemindMeOfX: At one point Skull comments that Sahu awfully reminds him of himself in his younger days. It's for that reason that he joins him on his travel, to prevent him from suffering the same fate he did, and to prevent him from committing the same sins he did.
