* DidNotDoTheResearch: Astonishingly (and he apologized for it almost immediately), there was a comic where Tycho became [[RedEyesTakeWarning dangerously]] angry while asserting that ''MegaManX'' was the 10th MegaMan game. ([[DontExplainTheJoke It wasn't;]] MegaMan Classic hadn't even gotten as high as ''7'' when ''X'' was released. The actual ''Mega Man 10'' would be made years after the strip.)

*** Actual yes, but this is borderline FallacyFallacy, at best - if not simply pretending to win the entire debate by mocking the lowest common denominator. It's like empirically calling abortion bad, because some people believe you should be able to use it as a form of birth control. While there are undoubtedly many who believe both - it doesn't mean that the debate on either is won, just by proving how stupid that particular view is.

* SellOut: Between [[http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2010/8/25/ this especially]] and [[http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2010/2/19/ this to an extent]], there seems to be an increasing amount of TakeThatAudience and ThisLoserIsYou regarding their fellow gamers, while happily siding with developers whenever an us or them situation pops up.

Recently, Tycho has starred along with [[HomestarRunner Strong Bad]], [[TeamFortress2 The Heavy]], and [[SamAndMaxFreelancePolice Max]] in a poker game named ''PokerNightAtTheInventory'', and the Fruit Fucker 2000 appeared (renamed [[GettingCrapPastTheRadar Juice Bot]]) in the Steam version of MondayNightCombat.

* GettingCrapPastTheRadar: In [[http://penny-arcade.com/comic/2007/04/02 this strip]], Gabe mistakenly calls Scott Kurtz by the name Steve [[CountryMatters Kuntz]].

* ContinuityNod: Fairly odd for a webcomic that features the main characters dying horrible deaths on a regular basis, but one [[http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2004/4/30/ comic]] introduced us to the idea that Tycho can't deal with the sun. More than six years later, Tycho is again seen trying to [[http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2010/6/30/ protect himself]].
