The series has undergone two rereleases by Chakra-X, both of which improve the animation with techniques that he learned after high school; one is the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZxseZ1dRMA HD Director's Cut]], which adds annotation commentary and cuts the three parts together as one movie. This version was further remastered as [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-etGCr7SM4 Nazo Unleashed DX]], which more cleanly upscales the movie to the video format and adds further additions.

Added DiffLines:

* OriginalFlavor: Compared to the original, ''The Wrath of Nazo'' will tone down the ''Anime/DragonBallZ'' influence that was used in the original and feel more like something from the games' canon instead.

Added DiffLines:

* FragileSpeedster: Base Sonic lasts quite a while against Nazo's attacks just because he's so fast Nazo can't keep track of him. Nazo levels the playing field with Chaos Control though, and after one good hit Sonic is down for the count.
