* DiesWideOpen: There is a WhamShot of the wolf having bitten the rabbit's throat open, the rabbit's eyes still wide open. It's even more noticeable when the wolf takes the rabbit back to its gen.

The short begins with a wolf chasing down a rabbit in the snow. After the rabbit falls down, the wolf doesn't instantly kills it. It lays down next to it and contemplates what to do: It is interested in the rabbit for reasons beyond food, yet it has an instinct to kill rabbits. In the end, the wolf does kill the rabbit. It takes the rabbit's body into its den but doesn't eat it. The wolf simply stares sadly at the rabbit's corpse.
