* Surprisingly, the Monday announcement ''didn't'' reveal whether Chapter 19 is the book finale or series finale. The outcome will be revealed on April 10, 2024, when the 19th chapter goes live.

Between the 19th chapter literally being titled "Finale" and the fact that every anthology in the Choices franchise has only ever had two installments (''It Lives'' was teased as having a potential third installment that sadly got cancelled), it seems likely that the ''Untameable'' series is wrapping up.

The long-standing theory that the "new, but familiar" couple teased at the end of Book 1 is Mandy and Austin has been jossed (since ''Unbridled'' has been confirmed to be GOC). However, as of September 2023, new VIP-exclusive books related to existing series have been popping up[[note]]''The Dalton Affair'', which is just ''The Nanny Affair'' from Sam's point of view, and "Bloodbound Origins", a spinoff of ''Bloodbound'' that focuses on the POV of the four love interests[[/note]], and they have been offering a new perspective on old series. With that in mind, it wouldn't been too much of a stretch to have an interquel between ''Untameable'' and ''Unbridled'' (both have GOC main characters and love interests) with Mandy as the main character and Austin as the love interest.

* Update: Looks like the second case is jossed as well. Turns out the familiar face in Book 2 is none other than Mandy. Guess she and Austin didn't work out.

* The first case is almost definitely jossed, since the sequel has been confirmed to be GOC, and Austin and Mandy's genders are fixed.

* Tate Fontayne (Kit Jackson's rodeo rival) and a new main character (the MC would be the "new" one, while Tate would be the "familiar" one).

[[WMG: The "new, but familiar" couple teased at the end of Book 1 will be...]]
* Austin (Barrett's older brother) and Mandy (Barrett's best friend). If this is the case, it will be the first instance of a gender-of-choice book having a sequel that is ''not'' GOC.
* Tate Fontayne (Kit Jackson's rodeo rival) and a new main character (the MC would be the "new" one, while Tate would be the "familiar" one).
