* The Shidu, as stated above. A bereaved mother (or father, but we'll go with mother), most likely Chinese, who Elora reminds them of their child. Various possibilities:
** She will be revealed to have been an [[AbusiveParents abusive parent]] who may or may not have [[OffingTheOffspring killed her child]] or [[DrivenToSuicide driven them to suicide]]. Disrespecting and defying her would be her BerserkButton.
** She was a genuinely good mother driven mad with grief after her loss. Elora must be sure to DoWellButNotPerfect; antagonising her will prompt her to snap and kill Elora, but endearing herself to her might prompt her to kidnap Elora or kill Elora and herself in a MurderSuicide.

* The Jock. A [[Series/ThirteenReasonsWhy Bryce Walker]] expy who makes several passes at Elora during the trip and boasts of his exploits.

Elora will probably have the best luck in the world and end up with a stranger willing to give a hitchhiker a ride that just so happens to be either just a normal person or a rather friendly and helpful one. Possible Concepts:

Possible Concepts:

Perhaps the player might have to memorize the numbers on their license plates, and doing so will allow Elora to report them to the police later on. For example, Elora could potentially save the man in Father Donald's trunk if she can memorize his license plate and notify the cops at some point, possibly even informing the Detective if she's able to hitch a ride with him and he isn't malevolent.

* The Gang Member. A clear-cut member of TheMafia, TheMafiya, TheTriadsAndTheTongs, etc, who will kill Elora if she pressures them too much on their gang.

* The Suicidal. A sorrowful looking man or woman who invites Elora in. They'll make conversation about how awful their life and would eventually attempt suicide by crashing the car. Elora will have to [[TalkingDownTheSuicidal talk them out]].

* The Father: The StarterVillain. His appearance would mostly be like in the demo's.
* The Dungeon Master: A misogynistic incel gamer type. He will ramble on about women and video games and will snap if Elora makes clear her disinterest of him.
* The Nympho: She will make several advances to Elora and if Elora is too dismissive or too welcoming of them, the Nympho will kill her.
* The Gentleman: He will show himself to be WickedCultured and make conversation to Elora about wine or Shakespeare and other high society jargon, while attempting to murder her, of course.
* The Mommas Boy: He will see Elora as a mother/sister figure of sorts and boss her around, reacting violently if she refuses him.
* The Detective: A police detective investigating the murders. Possibly suffering from mental illness or trauma, he can be provoked into a panic attack in which he will shoot Elora.
* The Pharmacist: A medical professional planning to kidnap Elora so his company can perform experiments on her.
* The Grandmother: An elderly serial killer. Possibly incorporating elements from the Shidu, she might have lost a child or grandchild, so endearing yourself to her might convince her to spare you.
* The Connoisseur: A drug addict/dealer. Possibly the Suicidal concept stated above, or a paranoid weirdo who will snap if Elora presses him on his drug use.
* The Joke Teller: A struggling party clown who will entertain Elora with sick jokes, reacting violently if she doesn't seem sufficiently amused.

** Perhaps it could be a hostage situation, someone holding the driver at gunpoint and forcing them to drive somewhere. The hostage taker lets Elora in for some reason, possibly revealing that it's a hostage situation later. The hostage may fight back.
** Or it, but the duo have a clear animosity between them and will argue throughout the ride. Elora must be careful to keep things calm or they will fight each other and the car will crash.
* The Magician. Similar to the Joke Teller, they will entertain Elora will their tricks, while commenting they

* A duo, possibly the Nympho and the Gentleman returning in one car at the last stop, or another (possibly gay/lesbian) couple, a parent-child (perhaps an actual child or teenager as the passenger) duo or pair of siblings. One half of the duo drives and the other sits at the backseat, alternating between shifting to the seat behind the driver's to chat or to the seat behind Elora's seat to try and murder her, leaving her to have to pay attention to both.

Be it something banal like checking damage on a car or something gruesome like conducting vehicular homicide and hiding the body.

In the case of a murder, since this game is kinda about that, she will have to be sure to make the murder quiet, hide the body and make sure there are no witnesses or she will be arrested later on, possibly by the Detective (unless, of course, she murders him).
