In addition, depending on the point of the game Apollo would be switching assistants. Trucy for one part, Athena for another, Pearl for another. Possibly Athena would only be in the court section, and mid-section swap outs may occur. Possibly included in this is Pearl channeling Mia to comment on Apollo's skills. Oh yes, and for added value, the Prosecutor in this case would most likely be Edgeworth.

[[WMG: Maya's been framed for murder. Again.]]
Because why have Pearl back if you aren't going to invoke the good old "Maya is a defendant" running gag? It's happened in every game with a Fey so far. As a twist, you'll play as Apollo for most of it, possibly because Phoenix can't bring himself to talk to Maya about everything... but in the last bit of the investigation it becomes clear that they need vital evidence out of Maya, and Apollo (along with possibly Trucy, Athena and Pearl) convince Phoenix to talk to Maya, partly to get it out of her and partly because it's most likely a Psyche Lock thing. It also explains why Pearl is at Wright Anything Agency, she'd still remember Nick.

[[WMG: This page will soon fill with {{WMG}}s about Gyakuten Saiban 5.]]
Just wait. It'll happen.
* Confirmed

[[WMG: Athena Cykes is somehow related to the Gramareyes]]

Her design seems to be inspired by crescent moons, which adorned [[spoiler:Thalassa as Lamiroir]]'s clothes. Also, she seems to be focuses on reading the emotions behind what people are saying, and her name is [[spoiler:like Apollo's in that it is named after a Greek God.]] She could very well possibly be another of [[spoiler: Thalassa's children.]]
* This will ruin another of Apollo's possible ships, however.

[[WMG: Something bad has happened to Trucy]]
(Overlaps with a few other WMGs but whatevs) She's still nowhere to be seen apart from a single shot looking at Phoenix's locket with the picture of her. Could she be like, dead? Maybe a victim of the explosion? Or something almost as bad as dead? It would definitely show you they're serious about this new darker tone that the series is clearly heading towards. Or alternatively...
* Jossed like no tomorrow.

[[WMG: Trucy is now a successful touring magician and has no time for us losers]]
Just another possibility really...
* Jossed. She's involved in at least Case 2 of the game.

[[WMG: The cast of Ace Attorney 4 was killed off in the courthouse explosion of the first case]]
To put it simply, a lot of people thought the original cast died before Ace Attorney 4 came out. Who's to say {{Capcom}} didn't try to invert this?
* [[PoisonOakEpilepticTrees I'd not like to believe this WMG.]]
* At least partially jossed. Apollo is alive - just severely bandaged up.
* Edgeworth is also shown to be alive along with Trucy.

[[WMG: Athena Cykes is [[SuperMarioRPG Geno]]]]

Her first name in Japanese (Kokone) is made up of the Chinese characters for "Heart" and "Sound" and her last name in Japanese (Kizuki) is a pun on "To notice/become aware of something". Geno's real name was given as "♥♪!?" In the English version of Super Mario RPG.
♥=Heart; ♪=Sound; !? =Awareness
Therefore, Athena is Geno.

[[WMG: Apollo will be a prosecutor]]
Inspired by some dA and fanfic. Why not? This is WMG!
[[spoiler:Now with some scans out (surprise!), I'd like adding to this WMG. Apollo is now a prosecutor - temporarily, because Trucy AND Klavier got hit in the explosion. It's probably similiar to Edgeworth being Phoenix's stand-in in Trial and Tribulations. However, I don't think the silhouette in the trailer is him though, the hair is too different (unless they change the design)]]
* There is another version of a "Prosecutor Justice Theory". Apollo will become a prosecutor in his own will, because of an issue between he, Phoenix, and [[spoiler:Lamiroir, who is actually Thalassa Gramarye, he and Trucy's mother]]. Also inspired by a fan-fic written by a person in Fanfiction.net named "nevertalk".
* Jossed. Apollo is the defense in Case 2.
** Not completely jossed with the theory around that Case 2 is a flashback. After all, Apollo is not bandaged nor does he give off the antagonistic feel in said case.
** Now completely jossed. We see this "antagonistic" design in Case 1 before the trial, and he's still wearing his attorney's badge.

[[WMG: The jacket now Apollo dons is lent/given to him by a friend.]]
[[http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130314040529/aceattorney/images/a/a9/Apollo_GS5.png This]] is his new design. The aforementioned friend, however, may or may not be a prosecutor, may or may not be a defense attorney, but he is definitely an important character. And whoever gave that jacket, he is definitely a crucial character in the final, climactic case of the game.
** This troper here is convinced that the silhouette at the end of the Gyakuten Saiban 5 trailer is Apollo, but he/she also thinks that the silhouette at the end of the trailer is the aforementioned friend, and not Apollo.
*** {{Jossed}}, probably. See [[http://24.media.tumblr.com/35861a4f4009bf59e35e7c59ca1c37a2/tumblr_mldsxoU4vu1qm61tko1_500.jpg THIS]] why. And yes, that dude is the silhouette.

[[WMG: Gyakuten Saiban 5 will give rise to Phoenix Wright/Athena Cykes shippers.]]
Although they won't be looked at kindly by [[YaoiFangirl certain fans...]]
** Although some might be turned off due to the fact that Athena is technically the same age as Pearl...
** on a related note...

[[WMG: Athena will get ShipTease with Apollo]]
* They're of a closer age, and unlike Trucy [[spoiler: she isn't his half-sister]], so this seems to makes sense.

[[WMG: Maya will appear in the next game...]]
And it'll be what inspires Phoenix to taking up defending again. As we know, it is almost tradition for the girl to be accused of/related to a murder, and such if she made a return, it would almost be inevitably because of such a thing. Phoenix would have Apollo try and defend her to the best of his ability, all the while trying to get his badge back - we know that such a thing apparently doesn't take too long if its recognised that you have experience, hence why Godot seemed to come out of nowhere. Phoenix will then make an epic BigDamnHeroes moment with his classic objection, and will take over the case for Apollo.
* '''''[[color:red:OBJECTION!]]''''' It is more likely that Phoenix would make his BigDamnHeroes Objection while not being a defense attorney. Think about it: so many non-attorney characters have made objections and saved the trial. It'd actually be much harder for Phoenix to object and try to overtake Apollo's role as the defense attorney, because, as evidenced in AJ case 4, defense attorney switching takes place outside of court. Phoenix has better luck saving Maya as a random bystander bursting into the courtroom then a licensed DA.

[[WMG:The main character of the next game will be The Judge, with a bailiff as his partner.]]
[[spoiler:After the credits at the end of ''Investigation'', he says that he might try to become a lawyer with a bailiff to help him.]]
* ...egad... if this occurs around the time of Phoenix's disbarment, he'll be paired with ''Mike Meekins''...
** Jossed for now, but who knows what the future holds beyond AA5?

[[WMG: Pearl, Maya and Edgeworth all know about Phoenix's disbarring + Next Game Predictions]]
It seems unlikely that Edgeworth, as one of the top prosecutors as well as a person accused of forging evidence, would not know about the disbarring. Edgeworth would then call Maya to inform her of this, but encourage her that a direct talk with him about it wouldn't be productive, hence the Steel Samurai stuff. However, Pearls would have likely heard about this through Maya, who would've been heartbroken at the thought of Phoenix forging evidence, and would probably become a prosecutor to try and find the truth behind the whole thing by talking to Klavier. However, by the time that she becomes one (at a young age, possibly with Franziska or Edgeworth's help) she discovers that Phoenix has a protoge, and then gets either Franziska or Edgeworth to mentor her while still doing medium training, despite the fact that Edgeworth has Kay as an assistant

If the above is true, then in the next game both Pearls and Edgeworth (or Franziska) will appear, possibly including Gumshoe, Kay and Maya. The cases will go like so: Case 1 will be Apollo vs Payne, Cases 2,3 and possibly 4 will have Apollo vs Pearl, the final case will be Apollo vs either Edgeworth, Franziska or Klavier, and there will possibly be one bit where you play as a recently reinstated Phoenix, possibly for the first part of the last case. Also, to prove to Pearl that the lawyer spirit still burns brightly in the Wright Anything Agency, Apollo (with Maya or a channeled Mia's help) will grab Phoenix's magatama and use it in his cases, which will become a key point when in the last case you have to combine the Psyche Lock and Percieve systems to defeat the Black Psyche Locks. Kay, when she appears, will basically be looking for evidence with Pearl or for Edgeworth.

[[WMG: ''Gyakuten Saiban 5'' will let players play as Phoenix and Apollo.]]
Hey, the above WMG is right! Anyway, ''[=GS5=]'''s logo combines a blue "Gyakuten Saiban" title (as per the original series) and a big red '5' (indicative of Apollo). It's just a logo but...Phoenix did say he'd look into restarting his law career. If there was a big enough case that required both lawyers, it's not outside the realm of possibility.
* Perhaps we'll have old character such as Edgeworth, Maya and Pearl return too.
* Confirmed. Apollo is playable in Case 2.

[[WMG: Athena Cykes is...]]
* Lynne from GhostTrick being channeled by Pearl
* An entirely new character, may or may not related with old characters.
* Already dead and being channeled by someone to solve the mysteries regarding her murder...
* Part of the new Yatagarasu team, along with Kay and Ema.

[[WMG: Predictions for cases in GS 5]]
* A case at Apollo's old orphanage.
* A case where a murder takes place at a Snackoo factory. Ema is very pleased.
* Winston Payne as your client. It's bound to happen eventually, right?

[[WMG: Phoenix Wright will be the LAST murder victim in Gyakuten Saiban 5.]]
And Trucy will be the Defendant, bringing the games full circle with situation mirroring "Turnabout Sisters".
* It's unlikely they'd bring Phoenix back to please fans then do something like that which would unquestionably cause several of them to boycott the series in rage. But not impossible.

[[WMG: Phoenix Wright will APPEAR to be a murder victim in Gyakuten Saiban 5.]]
* After all, do you think they'd ''really'' kill off everyone's favorite lovable lawyer? No. No, they would not. Would they pretend to kill him, causing much disbelief and tears among the fans, before revealing his "death" was just another one of his [[TheChessmaster Chessmaster]] ploys in achieving some hidden end? Yes, yes they would. And it would be awesome.
** So the real victim would be Furio Tigre?

[[WMG: Cody Hackins will make a reappearance in Gyakuten Saiban 5.]]
He's the only [[OverlyNarrowSuperlative non-dead, non-guilty, non-Rise from the Ashes witness/defendant from the first game]] who hasn't been in another game.
* Definitely possible. In what capacity would he appear? Well, when we last saw him he was only 7 years old and already extremely aggressive. He may have kept going in that direction and now, at age 17, he's a teenage troublemaker who's behaviour catches up with him when he accidentally gets implicated in a murder. Who does he call? The first lawyer to come to mind would most likely be the one who successfully got his childhood hero off the hook, wouldn't it? Especially with his fond memories of his very nice assistant who did that trade with him...or maybe he'll just be a minor character. Or a witness again. Maybe there'll be another Samurai-related case. Who knows?

[[WMG: Not only will GS5 cross over with VideoGame/GhostTrick, the whole purpose of Ghost Trick was for an AA crossover.]]
The crossover with Ghost Trick will be used to reintroduce supernatural elements to the series. All of this is part of a MASTER PLAN in response to the complaints some had about the lack of supernatural stuff in AJ outside of the Magatama.
* [[spoiler: Kurain Channeling Technique is actually reverse Yomiel. Instead of the spirit posessing the body, the Kurain Technique is to summon them into the channeller's body.]]
** [[spoiler: The Magatama they all endow is a Temsik fragment.]]

[[WMG: Phoenix's new assistant in Ace Attorney 5 is Pearl]]
It's like this: Trucy may be Nick's daughter but she's been assisting Apollo for over a year now and she's sticking with him even though Daddy's a lawyer again. Maya is too busy being the Kurain master and besides she's 27 now, and it sure seems the sidekick in an AA game must ALWAYS be a teenager. Bar none. It's possibly one of the 'Rule Of's (although which one I'm not sure). That leaves Pearl, who is now 17, the age Maya was when first introduced. Perfect candidate, no? Obviously she'll have changed somewhat so could easily develop a personality more fitted to replace Maya. And she can still channel Mia, who Nick clearly still needs as she was a big part even in Nick's last case in T&T, and the next case he took (that we know of) she was nowhere to be seen and what happened? He lost his badge! I bet if she was there she would have smelled a rat with that diary page and would have been clever enough to figure out people were out to get Phoenix! In fact I bet Pearl's abilities don't stop there! In JFA her abilities already seemed to be on a par with Maya's, so who knows what she's capable of nearly a decade later! Maybe whatever she can do now will take the form of some new minigame to replace Psyche Locks/Perceive System/Logic Chess. Although on the other hand, her outfit suggests she may have been gone from Kurain for a while so maybe not....

* This new girl has blue eyes. Pearl has brown.
** It's been made pretty clear that [[TheyJustDidntCare they just don't care]] about consistent eye colours. Phoenix's eye's have been shown as blue on several posters (though none for AA5) but always appear dark in the games.
* Jossed. The trailer states that she's a new character, Athena Cykes.

[[WMG: Edgeworth will either only make a brief cameo appearance in Ace Attorney 5 or won't appear at all]]
He played important parts in all three of Phoenix's games, and now has his own trilogy which Phoenix doesn't get any speaking parts in at all. This means that until PLvsAA and AA5 come out he's actually appeared in more games than Phoenix (Edgeworth: PW:AA, JFA, T&T, AAI, AAI 2 / Phoenix: PW:AA, JFA, T&T, AJ:AA)AAI 2 may miraculously be coming to the UK and USA after all, and there's a fairly decent chance there will be a third AAI game, so quite simply, to put him in a prominent role in AA5 as well as any sequels would simply be overusing him. Besides, if there is a third AAI game it'll probably be set less that a year after AAI 2, seeing as AAI 2 starts less than 2 weeks after AAI, so Edgeworth appearing in a game set years later would be like a spoiler, or if not it'd just be weird alternating back and forth between younger Edgeworth and older Edgeworth in a way that could be avoided if him and Phoenix just each keep to their separate series.
* Jossed. Edgeworth's back with a spiffy new coat and glasses, and it looks like we'll be facing him in court.

[[WMG: The new assistant in Gyakuten Saiban 5 is Phoenix's understudy]]
* She doesn't look too much like Trucy or Pearl to me, so she's probably a new character.
** [[IKnewIt Confirmed in the latest trailer.]]

[[WMG: The reason Apollo is nowhere to be seen so far is that not much else has actually changed...]]
Apollo is still a lawyer, Trucy is still his sidekick, Klavier and Ema are still around but they're all part of their own AA story now! They will continue to repeatedly turn up in each others cases by the same ContrivedCoincidence system that we all learned to overlook in Phoenix's original trilogy. Meanwhile, Phoenix is a lawyer again, he has a new assistant (probably either Pearl or an understudy, either way she's obviously gonna be following Phoenix around for quite a while), theres probably a new cocky young prosecutor waiting to become Phoenix's new rival, Gumshoe is probably still around, and so what we have are two separate casts who are gonna have their own series of games. Maybe the next game after this will be centered on Apollo's world (and maybe won't take another 5-6 years after the last main entry) and the only connection the two casts will have in the future is the occasional crossover in a cameo appearance for a little fan-pleasing, or of course more prominently for the joining of forces for a big fat dramatic finale. And as for the Judge? Yeah, he gets around, he may well be present in both. Or maybe his brother will return.
* Actually, Apollo is playable in Case 2, so semi-Jossed.

[[WMG: There will be some changes to the font and the beepy talking sound]]
It's confirmed for a western release and with it being the first AA game on the 3DS, this troper speculates a slightly nicer-looking font and a slightly different (and nicer-sounding) talking noise.
* Half-confirmed - the newly released western trailer shows a new font.

[[WMG: The new girl is Manfred von Karma's unnamed granddaughter]]
Below, someone mentioned his unnamed granddaughter with the dog named Phoenix (confirmed by WordOfGod to actually exist and not because von Karma wanted to make fun of Phoenix) becoming a prosecutor who's a Phoenix fangirl. Here's a slight spin on things: like Apollo, she admired Wright as a child and soon became his {{Fangirl}}. She's apparently around Pearl's age in the PW trilogy, which would make her around 17 now, fitting in with the teenage sidekicks. Also, she's described as having a strong drive to win, a more healthy version of Manfred and Franziska's drive for perfection. Perhaps she went to law school to try and become a defense attorney like her admirer Wright (and maybe face Franziska and (presumably) Edgeworth in court someday or something) and ended up being mentored by Wright? ...[[RuleOfCool Pretty please Capcom?]]
** {{Jossed}}, the new character is Phoenix's understudy, Athena Cykes. And yes, I did just Joss my own theory.
** How? If she's Franziska's sister's daughter, then she could very well be von Karma's granddaughter.

[[WMG: AA5 takes place after AA4. Phoenix's ability to return to his profession and Maya's absence have the same reason, tied to a TomatoSurprise.]]
Phoenix was able to be a lawyer again by exploiting a legal loophole. He could never be a lawyer again for the rest of his life. Phoenix Wright is dead, and Maya is channeling him. The TomatoSurprise part is that multiple characters know that he confirmably died, and, without outright stating that fact, wonder if a mistake was made or if something else strange happened.

[[WMG: Phoenix Wright, now channeled by Maya Fey, was murdered for his involvement in legal system reforms.]]
Addition to the previous WMG: at the end of AA4, Phoenix began the reversal of the changes to the legal system that were designed to speed cases through the courts and enforced a guilty-until-proven-innocent mentality. There are forces who prefer and perhaps caused this, and they dealt with Phoenix. Maya is risking her life by channeling Phoenix and enabling him to finish what he started. She even bought a suit tailored to his measurements and had her hair cut to match his own (since a Kurain medium's clothes and hair don't change when channeling someone).

[[WMG: Someone close to Phoenix is dead]]
A big deal is being made over this game having a darker tone. The first case is about a bomb in a courtroom which surely would entail a higher body count than usual (since it's usually just one) and that's just the beginning. I wouldn't be surprised if another aspect is that changes have been made to the courts to possibly make them even more harsh, as Phoenix himself said in AJ:AA that a dark time for them is coming. But really, how much 'darkness' can come out of that? The aim of the game is always to win the case [[spoiler: (I know, there's an exception to that but shut up!)]] so if Phoenix is still managing that (and by now he must be [[GenreSavvy savvy to the fact that if his client is innocent, he WILL win in the end)]] then how dark can it be? If times are really difficult for Phoenix, and he's in a properly bad place, I'd guess that either an established character from his trilogy or someone else he knew closely is dead.
* Doesn't seem like it. Apollo's still there, Trucy's around, Edgeworth's back.
** Maya isn't.

[[WMG: Phoenix's locket will be a ChekhovsGun]]
Because they don't add it to his design for nothing. WMG above predicting about Phoenix being a murder victim (or at least seems to be victim). The locket is placed on his left pocket, right in front of the heart. So maybe, if someone tried to shoot him, it'll be crucial in some way.

[[WMG: The culprit of the bombing is either Winston Payne's [[RememberTheNewGuy newly introduced brother]] or Payne himself]]
Revealed screenshots of the case show [[http://images.wikia.com/aceattorney/images/e/e4/Postgallery-5.jpeg this]] image of the MadBomber behind the incident. Although half their face his covered by a [[BuffySpeak weird helmet-thing]], it's pretty clear they're an older male. (Well, they're ''definately'' not your client, that's for sure) But just look at the grin. Doesn't it look 'Payne-ish' to you? Furthermore, it's also stated that Payne's brother is [[KnightOfCerebus considerably more villainous]] that Payne was, and isn't afraid to use [[AmoralAttorney dirty tactics.]] [[spoiler: Considering what lengths other [[AmoralAttorney Amoral Attorneys]] in the series have gone to,]] bombing doesn't seem out of the question. And plus, how much of a shake-up would it be to have 'the prosecutor did it' in ''the very first case''!
** {{Jossed}}, ''probably''. The new trailer indicates this character as Barashima Shingo, and doesn't even ''attempt'' to hide his suspiciousness, so he's probably just as much of a BadLiar as Sawhit. (That and the last chartacter who appeared in a trailer like this [[spoiler: Portsman]] did indeed turn out to be guilty) There's still room to believe the bombing was masterminded by someone else though.

[[WMG:Related to this, the antagonists of the game are a terrorist organization comprised of legal professionals opposing the changes to the legal system AJ brought]]
Well, they did say "dark days are coming for the legal system." It kinda makes sense, and it would be a nice call back to the smuggling ring in the first ''Investigations.'' For bonus points, [[spoiler: Kristoph had connections with the group, which relates to his black Psyche-Locks. Or maybe they're his followers acting under some kind of 'if anything happens to me' failsafe plan. Perhaps his GambitSpeedChess with Wright is still going...]]

[[WMG:The first case will get censored in America due to terrorism undertones]]
[[PoisonOakEpilepticTrees I sincerely hope this doesn't happen]], but it seems pretty likely.

[[WMG:Yumihiko Ichiyanagi will return]]
But grown-up and [[TookALevelInBadass Taken A Level In Badass]] as a serious prosecutor, possibly even a legitimate rival to Apollo. Though he'll keep some of his goofiness and his musical theme to the point of still annoying the Judge and Phoenix. (Alternatively, he'll get on ''really well'' with the Judge, they're both prone to InsaneTrollLogic theories, after all.) English fans will wonder who the hell he is, and it'll eventually cause a case of MarthDebutedInSmashBros.

[[WMG: Athena is from Germany in Localization]]
* Actually, considering her name, she might be from Greece.

[[WMG: Kristoph will be a ChekhovsGunman in this game]]
Shortened version of my previous WMG here. It would make sense, after all.

[[WMG: Phoenix is still close to Miles Edgeworth and possibly sharing his closet]]
I mean, come on...look at what he's wearing [[http://ic.pics.livejournal.com/starpiper/938433/47301/47301_original.jpg in Gyakuten Saiban 5]] and compare it to [[http://ic.pics.livejournal.com/starpiper/938433/47050/47050_original.jpg Miles Edgeworth's usual getup]]. Add a cravat and palette swap and it's the same outfit!

[[WMG: During GS/AA5, we'll finally crack Kristoph's psyche locks]]
* If you thought his breakdown at the end of AJ was epic, he'll have a bigger one here. It won't be broken with a multitude of items, but with a ChekhovsGun
** [[FridgeHorror Yes, but the real question here is]] how much worse and epic can a breakdown get than "a laugh louder than anyone had ever heard...or since. A laugh, which echoed in the halls of justice for what seemed like hours."

[[WMG: One of the defendants will be the judge, and the judge for his trial will be his brother or someone else]]
Oh, and his full name will finally be revealed.

[[WMG: The Feys and other characters in the other games will return for the finale]]
* A Tradition of the series that Edgeworth and the Feys will be involved to the final case of the trilogy someway.

[[WMG: Apollo is a victim of the bombing in the first case]]
* As seen in the design.
* I don't know, he seems fine in Case 2 and on the box-art. Then again, Case 2 and other midgame cases could be a flashback.
* Based on the demo, [[spoiler:Apollo got the injuries by protecting Juniper from the debris.]] So confirmed, I guess.

[[WMG: Yugami, the new prosecutor, was wrongfully convicted of murder]]
* With a criminal prosecutor on the scene, it's certain that one of the game's cases will involve looking into the incident that he was accused of. Naturally, he'll turn out to have been framed, or took the fall for someone else.

[[WMG: Kristoph Gavin was Yugami's attorney during the trial in which he was convicted of murder]]
* ...and this will lead to some bad blood between him and Apollo, given Apollo's past association with Gavin. Given the [[AmoralAttorney kind of person]] Gavin is, it wouldn't be surprising if it turned out he stabbed his client in the back.

[[WMG: Yugami's trial will form a key part of the plot of the final case.]]
* Come on, the fact that ''he's serving a murder sentence'' '''has''' to be significant to the game's overall plot somehow. I predict thee final case will be made up of equal parts flashbacks to his trial and a new case in the present that turns out to be connected. And if the above WMG about Yugami being innocent is true, the real killer will be the game's BigBad.

[[WMG: Case 2 is a flashback]]
* Firstly, you're playing as Apollo, so this could be set before Phoenix gets his badge back. Secondly, Apollo still has his old design. Either the case takes place before the explosion, or he recovered ''really'' quickly.

[[WMG: Egdeworth will only prosecute in court during flashbacks]]
The brief shot of him in court doesn't seem to show him wearing glasses. He'll still be an important NPC in the present, but you won't go up against him.

[[WMG: The events of Gyakuten Kenji 2 prompted Edgeworth to become Chief Prosecutor]]
* Specifically, him finding out about [[spoiler: Bansai Ichiyanagi, and him being the Chief Prosecutor who gave von Karma the penalty, thus leading to the DL-6 incident.]] Now knowing full well the damage an AmoralAttorney in the position can do, Edgeworth was determined to never let that happen again.

[[WMG: One of the murder victims...]]
* Will be [[spoiler:Thalassa/Lamiroir]]. This is when Phoenix will tell Apollo and Trucy [[spoiler:that she was their mother, and they realize they're half-siblings.]]

[[WMG: The last case will actually be two cases.]]
* Phoenix and Apollo will both work on separate, seemingly unrelated cases at the same time. As progress is made, it becomes clear that the two cases are closely connected, and the two of them will have to share information with each other in order to solve them.
** Additionally, not only will Edgeworth be involved, but Klavier will come back too, reviving the tradition of a previous prosecutor coming BackForTheFinale from the original trilogy.
