Alot of the dinosaurs, not just the above-mentioned allosaur, seem to have similar eyes to the therizinosaur and are acting strangely, especially the scene where Yaz and Sammy try to stir up a stampede among them as a distraction but it doesn't work. Biosyn is probably doing ''something'' with them, with all of these other dinosaurs being test subjects for a project that culminates with the therizinosaurs.

The second trailer starts by revealing that Brooklyn was attacked by raptors and was seemingly killed. Yet aside from camera evidence that glitches out, there's no proof she is dead. It's possible that she survived and either [[FakingTheDead faked her death]] or was captured by whoever targeted her.
* Additionally there were casting calls for ''Chaos Theory'' for an VA for a character called "Sydney" which might be casting code since Jenny Ortega wasn't going to be reprising Brooklyn and sometimes the production gives actors different material from the actual show when auditioning to prevent spoilers / leaks e.g. Freddie Prince Jr when casting for ''WesternAnimation/StarWarsRebels'' mentioned in an interview that the script called lightsabers "sun-swords". Additionally the details for this character has several bio / character traits that match Brooklyn: a young women / girl age 19-20 who was a child star / actor who is moved on and now working behind the scenes with the camera, similar to how when we last saw Brooklyn she had moved from online influencer to investigator. Additionally "Sydney" is mentioned to be involved with wildlife and that she lost an arm protecting her friends. It's possible evidence that Brooklyn survived the attack, and "Sydney" is just her alias to hide from whomever is hunting her and the gang.

The way Brooklyn's death impacted Darius (he started to chase after the ''Allosaurus'' that attacked her and blamed himself for not being there with her) resembles grieving over a loved one (in ''different'' way to grieving over a friends death). Also, the way Brooklyn adressed Darius in her video, looked ''pretty'' similar to girlfriend talking with her boyfriend. Possibly, after the TimeSkip between ending of ''Camp Cretaceous'' and beginning of ''Chaos Theory'', Brooklyn realised that she has more in common with Darius due to their interactions in seasons one, two and three of ''Camp Cretaceous'' and had broke-up with Kenji. The fact that new trailer implies that both she and Kenji had gone their own separate ways before her "[[DeadlyEuphemism accident]]", could lean into this theory being true.
* Half-confirmed: Kenji broke up with Brooklyn because she'd become distant--obviously more concerned with her investigations into what's been happening with the dinosaurs than with their relationship--and she stayed with Darius for a while afterwards. Darius fell in love with her (or thinks he did) but they were never really together before the events of the series.

Like she knows that Darius is hunting her because she killed his "mate" and she decided to taunt his loss by giving him a spiteful look, [[{{Sadist}} enjoying how he still remembers that faithful night and how he is scared of her]].
