Bonus Boss is a disambiguation

Both are mighty dragons, who guard the [[InfinityPlusOneSword powerfull Ragnarok sword]]. Both are also [[BonusBoss Bonus Bosses]], that dwell in the [[TheVeryDefinitelyFinalDungeon final area of the game]]. And Shinryu himself has shown himself in the [[VideoGame/DissidiaFinalFantasy Dissidia games]] to be quite malevolent, so he could be an SuperpoweredEvilSide EnemyWithout, or another EvilCounterpart to Bahamut.

In each of the 'episodes' of Final Fantasy that Omega appears, there's usually some kind of amazingly powerful dragon... The first one to be named Omega was 'second best' to Shinryuu...you HAD to defeat it to make t strong enough to fight it's target. In FF12, Shinryuu's counterpart is Yiazmat....so consider this. Omega isn't directly 'Evil' in the classical sense. It's an intelligent superweapon fighting the heroes so that, if it wins, it' ready to complete it's mission and stop a dragon that could ''DESTROY THE WORLD!!!'' It's tactics are far from friendly, but it's purpose isn't as evil as being a 'heartless warmachine' would suggest. It has no emotions, it's just being pragmatic for a win-win situation. Kill the heroes and it can kill it's real target. Get beaten by them and it comes back even stronger than before and with a small army of it's weaker model to aid in battle.

So why is the basic Knife Lenna starts with unique? Because it's the same knife that [[spoiler: Lenna nearly killed Hiryuu with, as seen in the flashback on top of the Phoenix Tower]].

[[WMG: The Dissidia series is the Light Warriors' fault.]]
The Interdimensional Rift was a way to contain powerful threats that could not be ''destroyed''. One of those threats is Shinryu, who is not only sealed in the Rift but trapped in a box. Bartz, Lenna, Faris, and Krile open it, manage to knock him out, and take the treasure--not realizing that he isn't actually dead. As a result, Shinryu uses the Rift to escape the boundaries of [=FFV's=] world, meets Cid of the Lufaine, and the rest is history.

* Granted, considering your party members come away from using Self-Destruct suffering nothing worse than a NonLethalKO, it could just be that the same applied to Gilgamesh here.

Lenna died in the final battle, but rather then stay dead, she was suspended like the people in phantom village. When she comes back, she can't die again, as she is already dead. That's why she is still around in Tycoon 200 years later.

** If ''[[VideoGame/DissidiaFinalFantasy Duodecim 012]]'' is anything to go by, and that the only difference between the swords is that Excalibur is red and Excalipoor is blue, then [[@/TheHeroHartmut I]] reckon he must be colour-blind.

* The name was written on the hilt alright…in katakana. Can YOU tell the difference between エクスカリバー and エクスカリパー?

The similarities seem quite obvious. Needless to say the deity(Deathgyunos) that Ra Devil revives using his body is non other than The Creator himself! Needless to say the True Moon must have had survivors from Final Fantasy IV The After Years.
