After moving in when Don Ramón leaves, and appearing in enough episodes to become known, she almost completely disappears and is only talked about, mainly by Chilindrina. What if her character was only created to alleviate concerns that Chilindrina is living by herself with no adults? She doesn't work as a replacement for Don Ramón because she is played by the same actress as Chilindrina. For any scene originally written for Don Ramón and Chilindrina to be re-staged with Doña Nieves, it either needs green screen (and the characters to stay standing far apart), or Chilindrina replaced with one of the other kids. Doña Nieves disappears completely during Don Ramón´s short return in 1981. Soon after that Don Jaimito moves in and takes on Don Ramón's role in re-staged scripts. Once this happens, Doña Nieves only appears in a couple of episodes where all the neighborhood adults assemble, or Chilindrina HAS to interact with an adult living in her home. Her character was rarely crucial (except arguably during a short time when neither Ramón Valdéz or Raúl Padilla was part of the cast), so why add her at all? To guarantee that Chilindrina was being looked after by an adult at home. Once she appeared in enough episodes to be remembered by the audience, the show could get by with merely mentioning her from time to time.

Chavo's father was another boxer during Ramon's days in the ring, but the KarmicDeath of his wife caused him to retire from the ring, or continuing ThePLan. Since Chavo [[AllThereInTheManual lived with an old woman]], Ramon didn't had a single hint of guilt. After said old woman died, Ramon, despite being abusive, became the closest thing to a gather for Chavo, out of guilt. Proof of this is the dream in which an sleep-walking Ramon takes dishes to the ever-hungry Chavo.

Think about it, she was the one character interested in spiritualism sessions in the sleepwalker episode ''and'' tried to summon the spirits.

El Chavo and the others can assume the forms of adults dressed as children, hence their childishness. Also, the vecindad is really one giant TARDIS.
