While no details are given so far, given the [[WebAnimation/DeathBattle source material]] DBA is based off of, its not much of a stretch to assume Wiz and Boomstick are the Masterminds. They'll probably use the other fighters instead of fighting the player themselves up until the very end, where they pull out various stuff from their segments, like guns for Boomstick. When beaten, the player character has the choice to either finish them off, or let them go, though depending on the character chosen, they will castigate them for causing so much carnage or just disgustedly ignore them.
