Since we now know that Bunnie had temporarily joined her uncle's Dark Egg Legion faction to regain her cybernetics, and that said cybernetics also contain a bomb, it's likely that the Freedom FIghters' knowledge on how to disarm said bombs would come from Rotor analyzing Bunnie on her return to their group.

Rotor and Cobar are bound to get together, sometime in the future, as per the "Mobius: 25 Years Later" storyline, and Creator/KenPenders has stated in his lead-up to it that they met on a joint Legion/Freedom Fighter mission. Currently, Team Fighters has helped solidified a ceasefire with the Dark Legion by promising to help them remove the bombs from their cybernetics. Besides Tails and Nicole, Rotor is their biggest tech-head to do such a task. ''Endangered Species'' showed that Cobar was, in fact, assigned as the chief in charge of Legionization for the group. It is highly likely that the two will be paired together to figure out a way to disarm the bombs, and get their in-canon hook-up, from there.

Eggman revealed that his newest iteration of Metal Sonic has a core that allows him to be more think and adapt to any situation. Orbot rightfully worries about this, though Eggman brushes it off. This could mean that eventually, Metal will betray his creator and strike out on his own, potentially leading to an adaption of ''VideoGame/SonicHeroes''.

The ending of the miniseries screams an online revival of ''Knuckles the Echidna''. As Knuckles mentions, there's a lot of unresolved things that he and the Chaotix need to take care of, and it doesn't seem right for those further adventures to be shown in further issues of the main comic or ''Sonic Universe Online''. Not to mention, there's now an empty void with ''Endangered Species'''s completion, so the best option is to replace the arc with an online revival of ''Knuckles'' moving forward.

Added DiffLines:

* Confirmed about Scarlett helping Bunnie escape the Sand Blasters. As for a HeelFaceTurn... well, she's been shown being a healthy romantic couple with an ex-Robian, and the Sand Blasters don't share Jack's FantasticRacism. So the BlackAndGrayMorality that the Grand Desert has is now a GreyAndGrayMorality, with the two black characters (Eggman and Jack) being a case of EvilVersusEvil.

* There's a big problem with that: Sonic won't be able to fight Robotniks his entire life. Just let him have his happy ending, dude!
