After doing some quick digging, turns out the two exceptions to the game's Adjustable Censorship trope are like that because the source files themselves are censored.


* AdjustableCensorship: The Act 5 Part 1 update added a Censored Mode, which blurs all pictures of extreme violence (though text descriptions and minor wounds are left unaltered), as well as a Streaming Mode that mutes background music that could be copyright-claimed.
