But after he gets himself together and starts wising up he bcomes this during at the end of the Battle of Cascade Falls when [[spoiler: he realizes that if the Americans all pull back at once the Soviets will realize that they are setting up a trap. So he and his entire company volunteer to stay behind and lure the Soviets into the DeathTrap, even though that means they will die too when the tactical nuclear missile hits. *** On the Soviet side, Colonel Orlovsky knows not to trust intel reports from the GRU, KGB, or Moscow in general, as they are often BlatantLies. He knows that executing civilians in occupied territories will enrage, not discourage the populace (and he doesn't like the idea to begin with). He also knows that when an M1 Abrams tank (which was new at the time) is spotted, it must be destroyed.

* UsefulNotes/BritsWithBattleships: When calling in airstrikes during the missions in Europe, the pilots have British accents.

* UsefulNotes/GaulsWithGrenades: Southern France gets invaded following a successful Soviet naval offensive in the Mediterranean. The First two of the flashback missions that show the fighting in Europe involve working alongside the French to repel this invasion. In fact you get to command them.

* UsefulNotes/NorthKoreansWithNodongs: North Korea is seen in conflict with [[SouthKoreansWithMarines South Korea]] after [[spoiler:China declares war on US and NATO.]] * UsefulNotes/NorwegiansWithNoAmmo: Well, actually they have TONS of ammo!! And they know how to use it. They show up in the final two flashback missions showing the fight in Europe. They team up with the Americans to launch a raid on the Soviet coastline. And just like the French example above you're able to command them. ** In the Soviet expansion they appear as enemies when the Russians launch their own raid against Norway, completely unaware that NATO is doing the exact same thing to them.

** Possibly subverted by the final mission in which the propaganda broadcaster speaks in what seems to be a more reserved tone and saying that the Soviet premier gave a speech about "sacrifices made, and sacrifices yet to come", implying that the Soviet government is starting to realize that they are not going to get the quick victory they were hoping for.
