An HD Port of the game and its sequel was released for the UsefulNotes/PlayStation3 and [[UsefulNotes/PlayStationVita Vita]] in 2014 using character models made from scratch instead of simply upscaling the old ones. A UsefulNotes/PlayStation4 version was released on May 12, 2015; this release gives players the choice to change between the newly remastered soundtrack and the original soundtrack from the menu. Finally, it was ported to {{UsefulNotes/Steam}} in May 2016.

Added DiffLines:

* HitodamaLight: The Pyreflies are fragments of souls who haven't been "sent". If they are not sent to the other side by a summoner, they'll turn into one of the monsters you battle.

Added DiffLines:

* NPCRandomEncounterImmunity: Played [[UpToEleven brutally straight]]. How many random encounters did you get into when you walked down the Mi'ihen Highroad? How many NPC civilians did you pass that were out for a casual stroll? If you talk to them, some of those civilians will decide they have no use for a Hi-Potion and give it to the Summoner and her crew of badasses.

* TooDumbToLive: [[spoiler: Maester [[spoiler:Maester Kinoc makes a point about to tell Seymour (an undead EvilSorcerer who is capable of summoning powerful aeons to wipe out his enemies) that he will never trust Seymour and will be watching every move Seymour makes. Rather than, say, keeping this judgement of Seymour to himself and watching Seymour closely, because you can't trust carefully, he says this directly to Seymour's face, ''and then'' he goes on a man who murdered his father for his own ambition, in a top level cabal where ambition mission with Seymour without having any backup around to help Kinoc if Seymour does decide to betray him too. * GracefulLadiesLikePurple: Yuna's kimono has a purple skirt. She is definitely the most feminine of the girls in the party - as she's also a WhiteMagicianGirl.
