* AlternateHistory: Not only has UsefulNotes/WorldWarII lasted three years longer, but the Nazis have won. This is emphasized by famous historical and cultural images being Nazified, such as Music/TheBeatles' iconic AbbeyRoadCrossing photo being performed by German soldiers.

* GoodPeopleHaveGoodSex: BJ and Anya are quite frisky when time permits (and sometimes when it doesn't). Which sucks for the resistance because they can be heard through the wall. By contrast, on the Nazi side, there's evil old woman Frau Engel and her bitch-boy Bubi.

* ArtisticLicenseEngineering: The design of the Gibraltar bridge in game appears to be a beam or cable stay design, which is simply infeasible for a crossing in the area. The Strait of Gibraltar may only about 9 miles or 14 kilometers wide at its narrowest point, but it also varies from 300 to 900 meters (almost 1,000 to 3,000 feet) deep. Building just of the pillars would be an even greater engineering challenge than the bridge itself.

* ArtificialBrilliance: The AI controlling enemies is solid, with occasional moments of brilliance. They understand cover, flanking, use grenades, and shoot fairly accurately. Enemies also act according to their roles, with commanders staying back and even running away when B.J. approaches to continually spawn enemies, and Ubersoldaten closing the distance to turn B.J. into Schweizer Käse.
* ArtisticLicenseBiology / AcceptableBreaksFromReality: Blazkowicz winds up spending 14 years in a semi-comatose state, aware of his surroundings but unable to move - realistically, a ''lot'' of his muscle mass would have atrophied over that period of time, even if physical therapy were used.

* ArtificialStupidity: Outside of combat, enemies are strangely lacking in situational awareness. They'll often fail to notice bullets whizzing by their heads and embedding themselves in the wall beside them, friendlies dropping to the ground left and right, and B.J. crouching in a corner 20 feet away.
