[=PlayStation=] All-Stars Battle Royale is a MassiveMultiplayerCrossover MascotFighter developed by Superbot Entertainment, running on the SuperSmashBros[=-=]esque premise of a cast of Sony's gaming properties joining to beat each other senseless. Initially known as "Title Fight", the game was leaked on October 30 of 2011 by [[http://paulgalenetwork.com/home/2011/10/30/big-playstation-3-game-announcement-tomorrow-exclusive-to-paul-gale-network/ The Paul Gale Network]] before being officially announced by Game Trailers TV and on the Playstation blog on April 26, 2012. The game will be released in the Holiday season of 2012.

!!The game will feature characters and stages from:
* ''Buzz!''
* ''FatPrincess''
* ''VideoGame/GodOfWar''
* ''HotShotsGolf''
* ''JakAndDaxter''
* ''{{Killzone}}''
* ''LittleBigPlanet''
* ''ParappaTheRapper''
* ''{{Patapon}}''
* ''RatchetAndClank''
* ''{{Resistance}}''
* ''VideoGame/SlyCooper''
* ''TwistedMetal''
* ''VideoGame/{{Uncharted}}''
* ''VideoGame/{{Wipeout}}''

!!The current roster:
* From ''God Of War'': Kratos
* From ''Fat Princess'': Fat Princess assisted by the villagers.
* From ''Sly Cooper'': Sly Cooper
* From ''Killzone'': Colonel Mael Radec
* From ''Twisted Metal'': Sweet Tooth
* From ''Parappa the Rapper'': Parappa the Rapper

!!The game provides examples of:
* AdaptationalBadass: Parappa's knowledge of kung-fu is about to come full-circle.
* {{Acrofatic}}: Fat Princess.
* AlwaysAccurateAttack[=/=]UnblockableAttack: Parappa's Level 3 Super is a short cinematic of him performing "I Gotta Believe", which kills everyone else on screen after it's over.
* ArtShift: Each playable character will be rendered in their respectable series' distinctive art style.
* AssistCharacter: Fat Princess mainly fights by calling on the classes to help her out, such as the Mage and the Warrior; her Level 3 Super even fills the screen with them. Sly will also enlist the help of Bently and Murray in a few of his Supers.
* BeehiveBarrier: The Gravity Shield from {{Wipeout}} is a usable item.
* BlownAcrossTheRoom: Colonel Radec's SniperRifle has amazing kick.
* BulletHell: The Sandover Village/19th Hole stage becomes this later on... with golf balls.
* TheCameo
* CameraFiend: Sly's Level 3 Super has him jump off-screen to inexplicably pick off his enemies by taking pictures of them.
* ChainsawGood: Sweet Tooth uses his in a SpinAttack.

* DoingItForTheArt: Superbot was handpicked and created specifically for developing this game. The team purportedly has several fighting game enthusiasts working on it as well (the lead combat designer has written several fighting game guides for Brady games).
* DropTheHammer: One of Kratos' many forms of attack.
* DuelingGames: Will be directly taking on ''SuperSmashBros'', moreso if Nintendo reveals a new game.
* EverythingTryingToKillYou: The stages will feature many environmental hazards, such as [[JakAndDaxter Sandover Village]], which has a giant fish swimming beneath the stage who will eat players too slow to get back to the main platform.
* FightingClown: Parappa is fairly unusual in his gameplay style; his fighting prowess isn't particularly strong due to his short limbs (though he can be brutally effective at very close range) and he's able to generate free AP with a boom box he throws down, which can allow him to overtake the other players assuming no one pays attention to him. His Level 3 Super has him rapping, which somehow kills all the other characters on-screen.
* FinishingMove: The game is based around these. The only way to win is to destroy opponents with them, and the main reason for attacking at all is to build AP to use a Super. Level 1 Supers usually take out one opponent over a small area, Level 2 Supers can potentially take out multiple opponents over a wide area and Level 3 Supers can often annihilate the opposition.
* FireBreathingWeapon: Among Colonel Radec's considerable arsenal.
* FragileSpeedster: Sly, among others.
* FollowTheLeader: Almost exactly the same as ''SuperSmashBros'', [[RecycledInSpace but with Sony's characters.]]
* GlassCannon: Colonel Radec is terrible up close, but very, very effective from a distance.
* GottaCatchEmAll: Collecting "AP" is key to victory.
* GuestFighter: The game is going to have them, one of whom (as speculated by the Paul Gale Network) is rumored to be JamesBond.
* HailfirePeaks: Several stages will smoosh together environments from completely different games for unique mash-ups (which includes mash-ups remixing the original game's music). The [[JakAndDaxter Sandover Village]] stage for instance will have several [[HotShotsGolf Hot Shots Golfers]] in the background sending golf balls onto the stage for low damage to those struck with them. Further, Buzz! will stand in the background of the slowly-morphing LittleBigPlanet stage to occasionally quiz the players. Later in the [[RatchetAndClank Metropolis stage]], [[GodOfWar the Hydra]] will appear, shortly after attacking/eating Captain Qwark. Probably the strangest one is a stage that combines the underworld of GodOfWar with {{Patapon}}.
* {{Homage}}: To name a few:
** The Power Meter from HotShotsGolf shows up when the golfers are about to take their swing in the Sandover Village/19th Hole stage, also serving to warn the players to dodge the oncoming balls.
** During Parappa's Level 3 Super, the screen starts showing his game's interface.
** "Fever" appears on the top right corner of the Underworld stage when the Patapon are getting ready to throw their spears on the stage.
* InterestingSituationDuel: One level has [[GodOfWar Hades]] trying to attack the players while fending off a band of {{Patapon}} warriors.
* JetPack: Colonel Radec's Level 3 Super involves one.
* LandMineGoesClick: Sweet Tooth and Colonel Radec use them
* LethalJokeCharacter: [=PaRappa=]. Oh dear, [=PaRappa=]. Not only can he self generate his meter with his boombox, his level one super is one of the most deadly, and his level 3 super is unblockable. Of course, the character will likely be nerfed considerably, but in current builds, [=PaRappa=] is easily the most powerful character.
* LightningBruiser: Kratos.
* LimitBreak: Each character will have a meter that fills as they pummel their opponent, allowing them to use up to 3 levels of Super moves. Level 1 Supers are usually brief but very strong attacks, Level 2 Supers tend to be a wide-area attack while Level 3 Supers could be accurately compared to [[SuperSmashBros Final Smashes]].
* MightyGlacier: Sweet Tooth, Colonel Radec and Fat Princes are said to be these.
* MolotovCocktail: Sweet Tooth can throw one.
* MoreDakka: Colonel Radec's playstyle is based off this. Also invoked when Sweet Tooth summons his truck.
* MultiMeleeMaster: Kratos bases much of his fighting-style around this.
* OneHitKill: Supers and certain environmental hazards.
* PowerCreepPowerSeep
* PopQuiz: Picking up the Buzz! remote item has the player call upon Buzz himself, who will quiz the players with random Playstation trivia, with incorrect answers being punished by [[PieInTheFace pie thrown from off-screen]]. This is also incorporated into the Dreamscape level, where Buzz appears later in the match.
* ProductionForeshadowing: Sony's "[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdWkKKSckNk Michael]]" ad campaign created quite a bit of speculation over a potential {{Crossover}}. [[HilariousInHindsight Suddenly the ad gains even more impact]].
* SawedOffShotgun: Sweet Tooth and Colonel Radec wield them.
