* DolledUpInstallment: The first ''Keroro'' game for the NintendoDS, which is based on the fourth movie, is essentially a quite good ''Klonoa'' clone with more characters. Namco later made ''Keroro RPG'', ''VideoGame/TalesOfHearts'' which is good in its own right.

In addition to the games, a short manga loosely based on them, titled ''Shippuu Tengoku Kaze no Klonoa'' and created by Hiroshi Katou, ran in [=CoroCoro=] Comic for the equivalent of two volumes. Although it borrows many characters, settings, and plot devices from the series, it's largely a gag manga that depicts Klonoa as a well-intentioned fool, trying to solve problems in the most slapstick way possible. Not surprisingly, it never officially made it out of Japan. Also, starting on September 26, 2012, a webcomic titled ''[[http://www.shiftylook.com/comics/klonoa/dreams-and-adventures Klonoa: Dream Traveler of Noctis Sol]]'' began being published on Website/ShiftyLook. Written by Jim Zub and drawn by Hitoshi Ariga (creator of ''Manga/MegaManMegamix'') and Jeffrey "the CHAMBA" Cruz, the comic appears to finally provide insight on Klonoa's adventures after the series, as it depicts characters and elements from more than one of the past games under a single storyline... Or, it did. [[RunningGag In keeping tradition with the franchise]], ''Dream Traveler of Noctis Sol'' was also CutShort due to Website/ShiftyLook shutting down before it could conclude. With that, the future of the franchise was seemingly dead.

Then, out of the blue and without a warning, [[http://variety.com/2016/film/asia/henshin-developing-klonoa-animated-film-1201902826/ an animated movie announcement]] came out in autumn 2016. It will be produced by the studio Henshin, written by Rob Pereyda, with art direction from Hiroshi Ariga. Series creator Hideo Yoshizawa will be a project consultant. Details on the plot are currently unknown, aside from it taking place in the same universe as the games, and being a more or less an original story.
