* FakeDifficulty: While the first game occasionally fell into this, it's much more common here, Squad AI seems to have somehow regressed, you'll encounter enemies being far more mobile and clearly not held to the same clunky movement as you, enemies will sometimes blatantly spawn in ''infront of you'' and level design occasionally forces you into extremely unfair situations.

* SequelDifficultySpike: Enemies will try to flank you in combat instead of being stationary, cover is alot more unforgiving with even a slight unexposed angle usually resulting in a downed soldier and soldiers go down always in one hit instead of having the chance to take a hit and keep fighting.
