''Eiyuu Senki: The World Conquest'' is a hybrid VisualNovel/StrategyRPG initially released on PC in 2013 and received a PS3 port that was also localized to the United States in late 2015. It takes place in an alternate earth wherein every single one of the historical heroes represented throughout the story that was a man is now a woman. Himiko, the Queen of the Yamatai province in Zipang, has had a vision heralding TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt and realized that the only way to face the oncoming darkness is to TakeOverTheWorld and unite the world behind her cause.

* BonusDungeon: Shambhala on the True End route: A 9-layer dungeon that requires the use of pretty much the entire army to clear as the units who fight on one layer can't join the battle in a later layer.

* MultipleEndings: A Normal End and a True End. The path splits based on if Himiko's army conquers the entire rest of the world before Brittania or not.

* SelfImposedChallenge: The game encourages them.

* TakeYourTime: The game has a turn counter, but there's no limit to just using turns to build up resources and finances. However, any potential enemy will grow stronger between turns too.

''Eiyuu Senki: The World Conquest'' is a hybrid VisualNovel/StrategyRPG initially released on PC in 2013 and received a PS3 port that was also localized to the United States in late 2015. There's only one small problem: Himiko is a ''terrible'' military leader and has suffered multiple defeats in her attempts at unifying Japan. After suffering another loss at the hands of Nobunaga Oda, Himiko is ambushed by bandits on her way home to Yamatai. Just as it looks like she's going to be killed before her campaign can truly begin, a mysterious light shines down from above, an unknown man with golden eyes appears and saves Himiko. This man, declared to be a Servant of Heaven but whose name is actually Chihaya, actually has no memory of who he is, but he and Himiko pledge their loyalty to each other and, upon uniting Japan, he becomes the Supreme Commander of Himiko's army to aid her in her world conquest.

* AccidentalHero: The Japan army indirectly saves Qin Shi Huang's life by spreading rumors that she is on her death bed, prompting Sun Tzu to rush back to the palace. She ends up breaking Qin Shi Huang's medicine bottle by mistake when she was about to take a larger dose than normal. Given said "medicine" was actually liquid mercury, that extra dose could have easily killed her.

* TheCavalry: The heroes recruited during the unification of Japan all join Chihaya to fight [[spoiler:evil Takeru]].
* FightingYourFriend: [[spoiler:Takeru]] pulls a FaceHeelTurn after the unification of Japan and must be fought.

* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: Both Arthur and Qin Shi Huang have beautiful blonde hair and are among the most kind people in the world.

* IllGirl: Qin Shi Huang, but she doesn't let it slow her down so as not to become TheLoad. [[spoiler:It turns out the "medicine" she had been taking was liquid mercury and it was slowly killing her.]]
* IncurableCoughOfDeath: Averted for Qin Shi Huang. Even though there are scenes of her coughing up blood, she begins to get much better once she stops taking the "medicine" that was actually poisoning her[[note]]Liquid mercury[[/note]].
* KatanasAreJustBetter:
** Becomes Chihaya's weapon of choice, as that is what Takeru trains him in to prepare him to inherit Kusanagi.
** Minamoto no Yoshitsune also wields one.

* LoveAtFirstSight: Queen Arthur doesn't do a very good job at being subtle about her feelings towards Chihaya.
* LoveFreak: Queen Arthur, who believes Chihaya would not have followers if he didn't love than and Japan's world conquest is being done out of love.

* AdultChild: Himiko. Her ideas of interrogation are tickle torture and forcing the prisoners to watch people eat their favorite foods in front of them.

* DeclarationOfProtection: Chihaya swearing the same oath to Himiko that Takeru did is what allows him to wield Kusanagi.
* DoesNotKnowHerOwnStrength: Musashibou Benkei, who casually lifts buildings off their foundations when looking for Yoshitsune. Also serves as her EstablishingCharacterMoment.
* ExoticEyeDesigns: Arthur literally has hearts for pupils.
* FieryRedhead: Lu Bu's hair is a reddish brown, but she has the personality down pat.
