That gangbanger was present when Luther's brothe Vaughan died and since he had the stolen Scooter, Luther may have even thought he was directly responsible. Still reckless but not as bad as painted by that post. Also, Patrick had just left when the shooting started.

And the whole thing is blamed on Miguel Maldonado, even though he had nothing to do with it beyond being the target of Luther's unbelievably inept attempt at RevengeByProxy.
