* Liese from ''Eiyuu X Maou'' is an inversion; while harsh is her default mode, her tsun side comes out more frequently with everyone '''but''' her LoveInterest, who she's loyally dere to (The Helper, on an occasion The Nurse.) The Taunt is typical among her TrueCompanions, she rains sadistic torment on all humans, and the rare tsun expression to Felser is [[SugarAndIcePersonality reserved and rather chilly]]. Depending on game choices, she may give him the full Tsunami wrath, but in the end will follow that with dere more extreme than before.

* Susie from ''VideoGame/{{Deltarune}}'' is a mixed example. She's a Harsh tsundere to almost everybody, threatening to bite their faces off and shoving them around and the like, but gradually showing a softer side to those she comes to like and trust. Even after she grows out of her bullying ways, she's still brusque and sarcastic, even towards friends, but she isn't ''mean'' anymore and shows genuine concern for them when the going gets tough. Towards her probable LoveInterest Noelle Holiday, she's closer to a Sweet tsundere, being nicer to her than she is to almost anybody else, but still occasionally sniping at her if she gets embarrased or flustered.

*** [[AnIcePerson Izoztutako]], Chapter 6's ArcVillain, is this mixed with JerkWithAHeartOfJerk. Everyone besides her LoveInterest gets [[IncrediblyLamePun the cold shoulder]], but with him she devolves into SlapSlapKiss, SuspiciouslySpecificDenial, and HypocriticalHeartwarming.

*** [[spoiler: Zirikatu]], Izoztutako's LoveInterest, is this. With anyone besides her, he's cordial (unless bothered), but with her he devolves into TheTease and BelligerentSexualTension.

* Dinah the werefox from ''VideoGame/UnicornOverlord''. She has a deep dislike of outsiders (and humans in particular), and acts very standoffish towards Alain from the start. When she's recruited, she makes it clear she's not joining you so much as she's using you to get her soldiers back from Zenoira. Despite this, she comes to warm up to the Liberation army over time. She's even more blatantly tsundere if you choose to romance her. She gets very angry at Alain for [[spoiler: taking a blow meant for her and Yunifi]] and demanding he take better care of himself, and she gets noticeably frustrated that Alain doesn't seem to be getting the hints she keeps dropping that she might have a thing for him. [[spoiler: If you choose her for the Rite of the Covenant, she insists she was planning to turn Alain down and gets angry at him for the kind way he treats her, but ultimately her feelings for him win out over her pride.]]

** ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVIII'': While Squall Leonhart is typically just standoffish, his interactions with both [[PluckyGirl Rinoa]] and [[HotBlooded Zell]] results in his developing a more hostile personality. These two, [[BelligerentSexualTension especially Rinoa]] constantly try to get Squall to open up throughout the game. * [[InspectorJavert Inspector Carmelita]] in the ''VideoGame/SlyCooper'' games, but only toward Sly himself. To the rest of the gang (and even Sly's ''ancestors'' in [[VideoGame/SlyCooperThievesInTime the fourth]], she's surprisingly kind, sweet, and supportive.

** Surprisingly, [[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaSpiritTracks Spirit Zelda]] is a "sweet but harsh" example, rather than this kind, like the other Zelda-characters listed here.

* Shadow and Blaze in the ''[[VideoGame/SonicTheHedgehog Sonic]]'' games. Both start out as rivals of Sonic, with Shadow seeking revenge on humanity for Maria's death and Blaze refusing to accept help from anyone but Cream (to the point of knocking Knuckles out for suggesting that she work with Sonic), but by the end, both are allies of Sonic, with Blaze realizing her powerful friendship with Cream, though Shadow is still Sonic's rival on occasion he does care for him (even has an outright tsundere moment in the DS version of ''VideoGame/SonicColors'').

* An example from the ''VideoGame/SonicTheHedgehog'' series of this type of Tsundere would probably be Amy Rose (When she's not an unfortunate victim of {{Flanderization}}), though she didn't start like that at first. Amy typically has a nice and sweet personality, but hides a nasty temper within, and will tend to lash out at whatever angers her (Typically with her hammer). Yes, that does include Sonic, the very person she has a crush on.

* Knuckles and Rouge from the ''VideoGame/SonicTheHedgehog'' series fit this definition quite nicely. Exaggerated in the anime ''Anime/SonicX'', where it all but states they are an item.

*** WhiteMagicianGirl Serra is very much this type of Tsundere in her supports with Erk and Matthew, though more pronunciated since she also exhibits RichBitch traits despite not being one ([[spoiler:She's actually a StepfordSmiler orphan who ''created'' the RichBitch persona to cope with her ParentalAbandonment issues]]) and acting more dere-dere towards Oswin, [[WellDoneSonGuy whose approval she seems to crave for]] (to the point of falling in an HeroicBSOD when she mistakenly thinks he hater her).

*** This game brings us another male Tsundere, Felix. He's an aloof ProudWarriorRaceGuy who cares only about getting stronger and sneers at the notion of knightly behavior. He's very abrasive towards even his allies, referring to Prince Dmitri as "the boar prince", snarks constantly at his ChildhoodFriend Sylvain and Ingrid and is infamously blunt. However, in many of his romantic supports he becomes very Dere-dere towards them, particularly [[PluckyGirl Annette.]]

** Also, Mei Ling in her cameo in ''VideoGame/MetalGearSolid2'', and the bonus "[[CrackFic External Gazer]]" short story.

* Sue Sakamoto from ''VideoGame/CaveStory'' is a DistressedDamsel, but she'll bluster and threaten right up until she's captured (and after), then yell at you for saving her. She warms up to you as time goes by, though, probably since you end up saving her no less than three times.

* Platonic example in ''VideoGame/RootsOfPacha'': Reese says that her husband Ron acts bothered towards Tetih, but deep down he secretly loves her as a friend.

* ''VideoGame/GenshinImpact'': three examples.

** Faruzan's comes from demanding the respect due a senior citizen, even though the reason she is over a hundred year old is because she was held in stasis in a ruin, which is why she didn't age.

* ''VideoGame/GenshinImpact'': three examples. Diona is a tsundere bartender who very much acts like one expects a cat to act. Eula's is a defense mechanism due to her family's poor reputation in Mondstadt. Faruzan's comes from demanding the respect due a senior citizen, even though she is over a hundred year old was that she was held in stasis in a ruin, which is why she didn't age.

** Shionne from ''VideoGame/TalesOfArise'' comes off as cold and harsh at first. She's very impatient with anyone and anything that isn't related to her ultimate goal. However, she does frequently go out of her way to heal people with her astral artes, regardless of whether they're Dahnan or Renan. When Alphen points this out to her, she tries to deny it. She starts to thaw after [[spoiler: Alphen defends her from Dedyme.]]

*** Finnel, is described as a 'typical tsundere' by her in-game character profile. [[spoiler: It's actually played with a bit though. Her deeper Cosmopheres reveal she acts uppity in the hope Aoto might get fed up and exert some authority over her]].
*** The hero Aoto, at least in his interactions with Finnel. With Saki he acts differently, but the closer he is to Finnel, the more of a Tsundere he becomes. [[spoiler: This is Lampshaded by one of Finnel's personae in the deepest level of her Cosmosphere, created as proof of their mutual commitment to one another. Said persona produces a castle for them to live in, carefully designed to force certain matters since both are Tsundere]].

** Silver from the [[VideoGame/PokemonGoldAndSilver second generation]] games has many Harsh tendencies, which are given a slight boost in the Gold and Silver version remakes, to the point he occasionally seems borderline [[TheSociopath sociopathic]]. He is extremely tsun towards the player character, or anyone for that matter, is frighteningly obsessed with becoming stronger for a young boy, is overall abrasive towards everyone he meets, and is the first and only Franchise/{{Pokemon}} rival to actually attack the player physically, kicking/punching/shoving him or her upon their first meeting; he is also constantly called out on how harshly he treats his Pokemon. He does soften up a little towards the end of the game and starts treating his Pokemon kindly, though he still remains rather tsun-tsun towards the player, and is convinced that he or she is laughing at him. He then, in the remakes, suddenly goes Dere Dere at the Indigo League, even healing the player's team, earning him his reputation as the franchise's resident Tsundere in the eyes of many fans. Exaggerated in the SoBadItsGood TranslationTrainWreck that is ''VideoGame/PokemonVietnameseCrystal'', where Silver will call the player names such as "[[NoIndoorVoice TRASHY]]" and "[[EvilIsHammy WEAK WORM]]", and then abruptly declare his love for them. ItMakesJustAsMuchSenseInContext.

* [[VideoGame/RedDeadRedemption Red]] [[VideoGame/RedDeadRedemption2 Dead]] Series:

* Kratos in ''VideoGame/GodOfWarPS4 is technically this when offered a sidequest that the player chooses to accept. The player would be going to the destination specifically for the quest but Kratos would claim he was just looking for resources and Atreus can look if he wants but Kratos doesn't want to help[[note]]I do not run errands for dwarves.[[/note]] It's still Kratos doing the looking and the puzzle solving.
