* ''WesternAnimation/TheLandBeforeTime'', the 2007 TV series definitely has this trope written all over it. The main cast, Littlefoot, Ducky, Spike, Petrie, Sara, and sometimes Chomper and Ruby are all good friends with each other, and they get along so well. They even have a song about it--Good Times, Good Friends!

*** In "Dragon Quest," Spike also calls the others his family after going out to meet other dragons to find out who he is, and learning AnAesop that seeing this in terms of his biological origins was missing the point.

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Wishfart}}'': Dez, Puffin, and Akiko are frequently shown to be this. Although the latter two like to use Dez's wish-granting powers for their own personal gain, the ThreeAmigos always have each others' backs when the chips are down and will always prioritize their friendship with each other above all else when in serious situations.

* ''WesternAnimation/ClassOf3000'', while music is a huge plot of the show, so are the kids' friendships. The kids are together to the very end and will always support each other. A great example of this is when [[spoiler: Philly Phil thought that his friends thought he was a nuisance and he should stop inventing because it always backfires and to just focus on being normal "like everybody else". He packs up and transfers to another more science-based school.]] When his friends figure out that they made him leave, they go and search for him and build a big float to bring him back to the school. They felt bad about making him leave and told him "you're our friend. For life" and they didn't care if he did science and inventing along with music. Good vibes.

* ''WesternAnimation/MiloMurphysLaw'': Zack and Melissa manage to stick by and stand up for the titular character despite the fact that he is a DoomMagnet which everyone in-universe is well aware of. Milo also comes CrazyPrepared to help himself and his everyone around him.

* Over the [[LongRunner long, long course]] of ''WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons,'' many of Homer's friends have become this to his family as a whole, including neighbor and SitcomArchNemesis Ned Flanders, coworkers and ChildhoodFriends Lenny and Carl, Kwik-E-Mart owner Apu Nahasapeemapetilon, and Moe Szyslak, who went from simply being TheBartender to Homer to having a bond of some kind with each of the other Simpsons, most memorably Maggie after accidentally saving her life.
* In ''WesternAnimation/SonicBoom'', all five members of Team Sonic (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Sticks). Always hanging out together, even when they’re not busy saving the day. In "Knuck Knuck! Who's Here?", after Knuckles tried to find himself a family due to being the last of his kind, Amy tells him that she and the others are his family. Cue [[GroupHug group hug]].

* ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitans2003'' gives us... well, the Teen Titans. Various characters within the show have referred to the Titans as a family. Their devotion to the team and each other has been proved countless times throughout the series.

** Subverted in the spin-off, ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitansGo''. The Titans are this at times, but they'll often take any and all opportunity to throw each other under the bus for their selfish wants or out of pure spite. This is one of the reasons why some people don't like the show. Fortunately, though, we have [[TokenGoodTeammate Starfire]] to balance it out.

* The members of ''WesternAnimation/YoungJustice2010'', as exemplified in the episode "The Usual Suspects", where [[spoiler:Superboy, Artemis, and Miss Martian]] each admit to keeping major secrets from the rest of the team and are immediately forgiven.

* ''WesternAnimation/TheLoudHouse'': Protagonist, Lincoln Loud, and his best friend, Clyde McBride, have shown to have a tight brother-like relationship that begun when they were little kids. Several episodes show that they are there for one another when the other in is in a tough situation. This also extends to their other friends, Rusty, Zack, Liam and Stella.
