In the City, a bullet travels into a person every 3 hours or so. The characters exit stage left. Police clean up the mess, but they don't administer the medicine. The Earth is round, but he'd say it was flat just to disagree with me. Wood floats on water, but he'd try to prove that it doesn't as long as he could prove me wrong.
