Hey TV Tropes! Torbik here, finally got around to making a contributor page. I've been lurking for a while, finally decided to join up in March of 2010 after I realized I had spent all day [[WikiWalk browsing]] [[TVTropesWillRuinYourLife again]], despite having other stuff I wanted to do. That and having random pages or examples bouncing around in my head with nothing to show for it was getting [[{{Understatement}} annoying]].


Anyway, about me: For starters I'm not really used to chatting online or using fora, wikis, etc, so if I mess something up... sorry in advance! I'm also not very good at describing myself.

I'm 22, American (on the west coast specifically), home schooled through collage, and need to get out more.

I like video games, especially {{RPG}}s, I like to read sometimes, into webcomics, starting to read manga online, and I probably watch too much TV while at the computer. I don't watch a lot of movies or anime, but I probably would if I had more cash.

Oh, and I'm [[http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/UsefulNotes/Mormonism LDS]], for anyone who cares.

Hoping to be in the game industry some day, I do on-call game testing when I'm not too busy with life. And have too many things I want to try, examples:
* Making a webcomic
* Voice acting
* Indie game making (if professional doesn't work)
* Writing a book

I've got [=RPG=]Maker 2003 right now, but I can't think of anything I want to make with it yet. In other news I plan on entering NaNoWriMo this year, we'll see how that works out.

AttentionDeficitOohShiny: I keep not finishing games because I get distracted by a new one (or TV tropes...), and I don't know how many [=MMO=]s I've signed up for.


BrilliantButLazy: I get ideas that I never do anything with, then I forget them.


HeavySleeper: Undiagnosed narcolepsy and sleep apnea, I fall asleep fast and sleep lightly for the first hour or so. After that I'm pretty much out.

** Not sure that I have a favorite, partially because I have a terrible time remembering the titles of the book let alone the authors!
