Just in case you couldn’t tell by my troper page pic, troper page quote, a disproportionate number of my usual avatars, my usual forum signatures, or where I usually say I’m from (I’m not actually from Nakatomi Plaza), I’m a big fan of ''Film/DieHard'', and [[TroperDemographics not just because I'm a male in my twenties]]. If you haven't seen that movie, get off your computer, and watch it; don't message me until you see it. (Not really, but you don't know what you're missing.)

I frequent various forums and cleanup threads on TV Tropes, and occasionally edit their sandboxes.

In real life, I studied for a Computer Assisted Drafting Certificate and pursue a goal of becoming a Drafter, hence why I jokingly call myself "The Draftsman of Doom".

* CovertPervert: I usually keep the more risque aspects of my personality (humour, attraction, etc.) under wraps to a certain degree, but those naughty traits occasionally pop up from time to time.

* DitzyGenius: For an intelligent person, I can make some stupid mistakes, and occasionally say stupid things. I'd rather not talk about my lapses in judgement, however.
* DoggedNiceGuy: In defiance of this trope, I am putting in a lot of effort not to act nice for the purpose of attracting the people with whom I am infatuated, but rather, being nice because it's the right thing to do.

* GrammarPolice: I sometimes have a habit of correcting people's grammar and spelling, including my own mistakes.

* HeroesPreferRedheads: While calling myself a hero is stretching it, I do have a tendency to find women with red hair attractive.

* TheInternetIsForCats: After John [=McClane=]/''Film/DieHard'' posters, the next largest portion of my avatar gallery is comprised of cats, cartoon and animal alike, with one picture of a cat's head on Creator/BruceWillis' body in both groups.
* JewishAndNerdy: I have an interest in popular culture and [=AutoCAD=]. I also have an interest in Jewish studies.
* JewishSmartass: I occasionally have a smart mouth. I admit, it does reflect on the stereotype.
* KindheartedCatLover: I like cats. In fact, my first word as a baby was "cat".
* LikesOlderWomen: {{Downplayed|Trope}}; a good portion of the girls I find attractive tend to be slightly older than me.
* MenAreUncultured: Subverted. There is no reason I cannot enjoy ''Film/DieHard'' and also enjoy a glass of Bordeaux or a nice Scotch.
* NiceJewishBoy: Generally, I try to be personable and friendly. This is partially because I want to make myself and my fellow Jews look good and partially because I want to treat people with respect.
* NWordPrivileges: There is a certain irony to the fact that I launched a trope about Jewish stereotypes, when I normally find such sterotypes insulting. It helps that [[JewishSmartass this particular sterotype]] had to do with sarcasm, as opposed to greed or frugality.
* OldShame: I do not look upon my habit of making jokes about CompleteMonster candidates kindly.
* PungeonMaster: I used to regularly make puns about candidates' names in the CM, MB and HS cleanup thread's; however, they turned out to disrupt said threads, so I have curbed that habit. I also occasionally make stupid puns in real life.
* RealMenCook: I am very adventurous in the culinary realm. My specialties are hot wings, unstuffed cabbage with ground beef, chili, roasted asparagus with zaatar, and grilled steak. I have also discovered that pickled brisket is surprisingly delicious with red curry and coconut milk.
* RealMenEatMeat: Played With. I consume a diet largely consisting of animal products, with occasional vegetables on the side. On the other hand, I can decimate an entire tray of Brussels sprouts if I am not careful. However, I don't see flesh consumption as a gendered thing, so much as a health thing.
* RealMenHateSugar: Downplayed. I have largely lost my taste for sweets and confections since going on an NSNG diet. Played very straight with my coffee, inasmuch as after spending my childhood putting too much sugar in coffee, I lost my taste for sweetened coffee altogether, to the point of considering it an abomination.
* RealMenTakeItBlack: Downplayed, inasmuch as I usually have a splash of heavy cream in very strong coffee, but I am perfectly capable of drinking coffee black, the stronger the better.
* RonTheDeathEater: While I have not actually written any works which take this view as of May 2020, I view Victor Frankenstein as the real villain of the [[Literature/{{Frankenstein}} original novel]]. I have a hard time attributing positive qualities to him, and if I ever write a story where he is a character, I won't portray him in a favourable light. Normally I abhor painting the hero of the story in a negative light. [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness For Victor, I make an exception]].
* SharpDressedMan: I aspire to be well dressed in the near future, and on Shabbat I dress up better than usual.
* TranquilFury: Sometimes, If I am really miffed, I remain perfectly calm while I let out my wrath.
* TrademarkFavouriteFood:
** I like High Percentage Dark Chocolate. I eat it more or less once a week on Shabbat.
** I like rack of lamb, but it's something I don't eat very often, and when I do eat it, it's to celebrate my birthday.
* WeightWoe: I have struggled with my weight for a good portion of my life, and have recently gone low carb to prevent other damage.

* Any trope which has a basis in prejudiced stereotypes, but anti-Semitic stereotypes especially strike a nerve.
* Any trope which negatively stereotypes people based on their body shape. Negative personality traits can be found in people regardless of body condition.
* TheBadGuyWins: Enough real life people inflict suffering on the world and seem to prosper. I don't exactly want to encounter the same phenomenon in fiction, especially when there is no logical reason the villain should emerge victorious. If I am willing to overlook this trope in a work, it is usually because the work is well executed, including the use of this trope.
* BeliefMakesYouStupid: The idea that religion is for idiots is rather obnoxious, especially when idiots can be found amongst all ideologies, both religious and secular.
* BlasphemousBoast: Saying stuff like "I'm greater than God" is obnoxious, due to the fact that it is a statement of extreme arrogance. There are very few ways to have a character do this and come off as cool.
* EasilyForgiven: I believe that in order to properly make amends, it is not enough to just say sorry. You must make a serious effort not to repeat your mistakes.
* EsotericHappyEnding: I prefer endings to go as the creator intended them.
* AGodAmI: Extreme arrogance is obnoxious. Again, hard to come off as cool when you proclaim yourself a deity, with few exceptions.
* GodIsEvil: The idea of a sadistic monster of a creator does not sit well with me, seeing as I believe that [[GodIsGood my Creator is merciful and just]], even if I don't know his innermost thoughts. I therefore tend to avoid works which portray him in a negative light.
* HumansAreBastards: Humanity is capable of good and evil, and as a result, it would be gross oversimplification to paint the entire species in the worst possible light.
* HumansAreTheRealMonsters: Humanity has the potential to be more virtuous than the celestial beings [[note]] A comparison which might still work even if one doesn't believe in the supernatural, although one can also substitute fictional characters.[[/note]] or more inhuman than animals. Painting all humans as inherently worse than other species is a premise with which I do not agree.
* JustFollowingOrders: Every individual is responsible for their actions. Using this excuse without deconstructing it is not acceptable in this day and age.
* KarmaHoudini: Used improperly, this trope can detract from the quality of the work, especially when there is no logical reason for the villain to remain at large.
* NoBisexuals: I find it frustrating when media explicitly pretends that bisexuals don't exist.
* OutgrownSuchSillySuperstitions: One is entitled to believe whatever they think is true. However, believing that one's lack of religion makes one superior to others is [[NotSoDifferent just as obnoxious]] as believing that one's specific religion (or observance level) makes one better than anyone else.
* SocietyIsToBlame: Individuals need to be held accountable for their own actions. I wrote [[Script/ExtremePrejudice2019 an entire screenplay]] ([[CreatorBacklash not one of my better works, mind you]]) as a retort against the idea that anyone besides the perpetrators of violence themselves should be held accountable for the atrocities the perpetrators commit. That said, I do believe that if you intentionally lead someone astray, you are responsible for your own actions as well as theirs, while they are still responsible for their own decisions.

* There are two ways a CompleteMonster can be portrayed: Levelheaded or Emotional.
** My ideal levelheaded monster is a ColdHam, SoftSpokenSadist, in a constant state of [[DissonantSerenity level-headedness]] or TranquilFury, who is a disturbingly realistic CardCarryingVillain. He is prone to committing atrocities, [[ForTheEvulz driven by a desire to inflict pointless cruelty]], and doesn’t let his PragmaticVillainy negate his cruelty. He always has a [[PerpetualFrowner cold or unamused look on his face]], making the moments he [[EvilLaugh laughs]] even more disturbing. As a child, he will have indulged in TroublingUnchildlikeBehaviour. He can [[KickTheSonOfABitch kick even the worst of dogs]] and [[EvilerThanThou still come off as the Villain]]. He is [[VillainousValour too evil to be a coward]], and [[DefiantToTheEnd spurns any mercy]] shown towards him.
** My ideal emotional monster, on the other hand, [[EvilIsHammy screams almost every line]], and is an ObliviouslyEvil, KnightTemplar, PsychopathicManchild with a HairTriggerTemper. He is prone to commiting attrocities [[DisproportionateRetribution over the stupidest slights]], but doesn’t let his BondVillainStupidity negate his cruelty. He is a grim deconstruction of [[TheDogBitesBack someone taking revenge on his abuser]], inasmuch as he decides to do horrible things that [[FreudianExcuseIsNoExcuse far outweigh any sympathetic backstory]], and you cannot feel sorry for who he has become. He is a DirtyCoward, and [[VillainsWantMercy begs for undeserved mercy]] after all he’s done.
