Heyla every one. I discovered this site a few years ago and promptly went on an archive binge of epic proportions. I'm a long timne otaku who's first experience started when Sailormoon came out and then went from there. I love books -long ones with no pictures -and my favourite genre is Fantasy followed by romance (not the mills and boon type though) and adventure.

I discovered this site several years ago, promptly went on an {{Archive Binge}} / {{WikiWalk}}of epic proportions and pretty much hasn't left since except for side trips for university and catching up on manga and anime.

I'm a book nut and love sci-fi and fantasy books. Some of my favourite authors are David Eddings, Tamora Pierce, Brian Jacques, Mercedes Lackey, Elyne Mitchell,J.R.R Tolkien, Eoin Colfer and Anne Mccaffrey....to name just a few.

Yes I am one of those girls who writes fanfiction and posts them on FanFictionDotNet so sue me and I happen to think most of them are pretty good (of course YourMileageMayVary) but hey that's what flames and reviews are for.

Tropes that may apply to my life are still forthcoming as I try and find some that actually apply to me and aren't just wishful thinking.

Other than that I can't say what it's done for me to find this site and actually find out that yes there are people out there in the world who like the same things I do and don't consider it weird. Where I come from Down Under a 19 year old girl who likes anime and reads manga is ultra wierd *sigh*
