History Tropers / Mullon

I don't really remember how I came upon this site. But I love reading lists of things on the internet so it is a perfect fit. I don't do much, I just graduated from college and now I am mostly hanging around while I figure out what to do next. Hopefully that will change and this page will just remain out of date.


I've spent a lot of time revising articles on VideoGames. I'm always about a year behind everyone else, so I get to the page after everyone else is gone and find the place full of terrible pictures, and tropes that belong on the character page, and tropes that belong on the YMMV page. It's like everyone plays a game at the same time and then totally forgets about it. I think my two biggest cleanups were on the ''DeadSpace'' and ''BioShock'' pages.

I spent an inordinate amount of time getting the ''ComicBook/SonicTheHedgehog'' comic page up to snuff, mostly because I am a fan, I was bored, and I was procrastinating on something else. When I first saw it, it was like five tropes and a line of text. That was my first big project.

I worked on the ''ExcelSaga'' entry to make it more in line with the manga. That was also a really long time ago. It's too bad no one else reads the manga, sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who adds anything to it.

I added [[GirlGenius Agatha Heterodyne]] to the [[Pantheon/{{Technology}} Pantheon of Technology]] under ''Goddess of [[SteamPunk Steampunk Machinery]]'' and [[SilenceOfTheLambs Hannibal Lecter]] to the [[Pantheon/{{Food}} Pantheon of Food]] under ''God of [[ImAHumanitarian Humanitarians]]''.

For some reason one hot day in April in 2009 I got a wild hair up my ass and decided to clean up HeyItsThatVoice. I sort of regretted it by the next day, but by then it had already started. The cleanup process took about a week spread over a month's time. The worst part was having to delete people's entries that didn't fit in with the new setup I had. Eventually I finished it and put the massive revisions on the page, hoping no one would mind. They didn't, but I didn't get a MadeOfWin for all my hard work, which was annoying.

I'm usually the same Mullon everywhere. I'm at [[http://asylums.insanejournal.com/scans_daily/ scans_daily]] a lot. I was the Mullon over at the [[http://www.electricferret.com/ CBUB]] before that place became a rotting husk of it's former self. Except for YouTube and Xbox Live I'm the same Mullon everywhere. That is what I have gone by on a lot of forums, though I usually leave because they are either dead except for people playing forum games, or are all full of mean-spirited people.

I like contractions a lot more than I should.

I've edited a couple of things. Mostly just adding my ideas to the SubjectiveTropes, {{Discontinuity}}, NightmareFuel, CrowningMomentOfAwesome, stuff like that. I edited some other stuff, but I don't remember what. When I do edit things I usually have to go back and re-edit them the next day. That is what I get for editing late at night.

I've been adding [[strike:more]] a '''ton''' of pictures to articles lately. I just find it and adding the captions fun.
