* SiblingYinYang: With the elder of my two younger sisters. I'm an atheist, mathematical, sciencey, kind to everyone and very idealistic. She's religious, literary, artsy, acerbically snarky and very much a cynic. As such, we either get along really well or not at all.

* OtakuSurrogate: As I've said before, I'm a huge geek, and I tend to approach things more as a FanBoy than a FanGirl. I love sci-fi, fantasy, superheroes, computer games...
* Tomboy: Of the geeky, science and maths loving variety. I also live in jeans and unisex t-shirts because I really don't feel comfortable wearing feminine clothes.
* TomboyishBaseballCap: I have several, including one from LEGOland and two with daleks drawn on them (by yours truly).
* TomboyishPonytail: My default hair style for school and other situations where hair might get in the way, largely because it takes all of ten seconds to do. Sometimes, I ignore my hair to such a degree that even a ponytail is too time-consuming.

* OneOfTheBoys: Well, boys of the nerdy and/or outdoorsy variety. I much prefer being treated as one of the guys to being regarded as a girl, because I have many more interests in common with boys. I'm still identify as female, but never as feminine or girly, to the degree that I've been known to express my exasperation with my girlier friends and siblings with the exclamation "You're such a bunch of girls!"

* Firefly Wash: Firefly had many wonderful characters, but none as entertaining or as wacky as Wash. Endlessly hilarious and the source of a great many quotable lines, Wash is the sort of guy who would never let the world get him down.

I've recently been thinking a lot about my favourite fictional characters, so I thought I'd added a bit about them on here too. So, here's my eleven favourite characters, and the reasons why I like them so much.
* Remus Lupin: Unfailingly kind and accepting, Remus is the sort of person I aspire to be. Despite being hugely discriminated against for practically his entire life, he is still one of the most admirable characters in fiction.
* Obi-Wan Kenobi: Wise, kind and hilariously snarky, Obi-Wan has been my hero since I was really small. Practically the galaxy's ChewToy, he puts up with his horrible life and remains an amazing person to the very end.
* Sam Carter: A physics genius, as well as a woman in a largely male-dominated profession, Sam is an inspiration to this particular female physics geek, who's been in male-dominated classes for years.

\n\n* AdultChild: I will be this in the future because I don't ever plan on growing up. I'm already a teenager who gushes about cartoons, so I'm well on the way!
* BunnyEarsLawyer: To a certain extent. I do have a lot of wacky quirks
* DeadpanSnarker: When I'm not just being silly for the sake of it or indulging my inner seven-year-old, I'd like to think I achieve this.
* FunTShirt: I have several.
* Geek: Indeed I am.
* GeekyAnalogy: Everything can be compared to something I once saw on TV or read in a book. Everything.
* Nerd: Well, nerdfighter. See VlogBrothers for the definition of the term.
* LonersAreFreaks: No we're not! There is nothing wrong with being introverted. Trust me, you'd be introverted if you grew up with my younger sisters. At home I'm practically TheQuietOne.
* NerdsLoveToughSchoolwork: I will admit that I rather enjoyed the nasty questions in a recent maths exam and have often wished that schoolwork would be more challenging.
* MultipleReferencePun: One of my favourite forms of humour.
* PluckyComicRelief: I've often taken this role when hanging out with my two best friends at school or mucking about with my youngest sister. What's the point in life if you can't have fun?
* ProudToBeAGeek: Very much so. In fact, I even consider the term "weirdo" a compliment because what most people regard as "weird," I would call "cool."
* SawStarWarsTwentySevenTimes: At least! Every single one of them. I'm like this with a lot of things, actually. I've already seen Film/TheAvengers 3 times at the cinema and will likely watch it again and again once the DVD comes out.
* SesquipedalianLoquaciousness: As I read a lot, I have a rather extensive vocabulary.
* TheSmartGuy: Whenever I'm part of a group people treat me as this, although most of the people I hang out with are no slouches in the intellectual department themselves.
* Technobabble: I love deciphering technobabble in movies, which is even more rewarding when I understand the science that it refers to.
