I hobby of mine is finding tropes in my own life. I have compiled a list below:
* {{Blue and Orange Morality}}: Basically, the whole universe runs on a this. I list this here because it applies to my life, and because many people do not realise just how alien and "amoral" nature actually is, though I do.
* {{Great Offscreen War}}: Pretty much every war ever to occur, since I've never fought in one, and don't plan on it. I'm not sure whether the modern day "War on Terror" counts, since I have seen footage of it quite literally onscreen. but other wars, like the world wars, seem to exist somewhere in the backstory of the world just to provide context for some current events that I only ever know about through news and social media.
* {{Hipster}}: Given my taste in alternative music, weird way of speaking, and kind of left of center political ideals and despise for what western civilization has developed into, I guess I might classify as this, as many have pointed out to me.
* {{The Nineties}}, {{Turn of the Millennium}}, {{The New Tens}}: I have lived my entire life in these 3 decades, which have been full of happy, happy fun times, such as the {{War on Terror}} and the {{Global Financial Crisis}}! But not the Mayan Apocalypse.

I am a very horrible person. I also don't understand why so many tropers introduce themselves in the third person on their pages.
