!!Favorite Stuff

While I rarely labels things as my favorite, I do have quite a lot of stuff I enjoy. Due to the fact that I have a bad memory and have no intention of sitting at this chair for who-knows-how long some areas might be a bit sparse at first. Thanks to the fact that I use RSS feeds regularly I'm able to give a much larger listing of webcomics and manga I enjoy than any other categories right now. Things should even out in time. I'll try to add a commentary to these lists as time goes on.

** According to the article on TV Tropes enjoying this comic makes me a furry. So apparently I'm a furry. I've nothing for or against that kind of thing in particular. Indeed, to an extent I can really understand why someone might be into that kind of thing; Past that I don't even ''remotely'' want to know. I'm not going to try and justify liking this comic; it has enough humor and strong characterization to carry itself on its own.

*** Still having trouble understanding the plot of this one; the mangaka doesn't do a very effective job of being very clear in my opinion.

*** It seems by all appearances to be an incredibly generic and typical shounen fight-manga, yet it seems to pull it off ''well''. It presses all the right buttons at the right time, making something special out of something incredibly average.

*** I firmly believe that Japanese comedy heavily relies on absurdity to generate humor. The very ''premise'' of this manga had me sold from the beginning, and the rest of it since then has not disappointed.

*** Holy cow, the mangaka really does a good job of utilizing an UnsympatheticComedyProtagonist, doesn't he?
** RozenMaiden.
*** Namely because that one girl with the BoatLights keeps popping up around here, and according to the article on the series the anime suffered from AdaptationDecay.

*** Pretty much exclusively for the novelty of a romantic comedy manga where the OfficialCouple are an ''actual couple''.
