[[folder: rp stuff derp]]

I've been lurking the threads of this RP for a few days and I really like the character interaction going on here, so I'm gonna give it a go. I'm in a couple of other RPs at the mo', but none are moving very quickly anyhow, so I don't see myself having problems keepin' up with this.

Apologies if this profile's a little tl;dr, but I'm bad at wording things succinctly! >_>;;

'''Name:''' Peacock

'''Gender:''' Female

'''Universe:''' {{Skullgirls}} (Peacock is coming in from prior to the main storyline of that game. It, uh, hasn't been released yet.)

'''Personality:'''
Peacock is a little firecracker of a girl. A mischievous and loony trickster, she has a devious sense of humor and warped sense of morality. A resourceful schemer, Peacock will use every tool at her disposal to get ahead. Still, she prefers to take things in a straightforward way, and hates bureaucratic types. She’s nobody’s fool and won’t stand to be treated as such. She can be very direct and bossy: Peacock likes to feel like she's in charge.

Her mind is broken. Significant trauma during her childhood has made her devoid of any real empathy towards others; in its place is a mean spirit and pleasure in cruelty that drives her to commit heinous acts [[ForTheEvulz for kicks]]. She isn’t completely without self-restraint, but she can be volatile to be around. She acts like kind of a screwball, fast-talking and snappy, but she can switch to a brutal and frightening demeanor quickly if someone rubs her the wrong way.

Overall, Peacock's behavior is like a kid with a rotten attitude. She’s a real wild child, taking part in TroublingUnchildlikeBehavior with reckless abandon. She loves big entertainment, having a great fondness for cartoons in particular but also liking movies and TV shows quite a lot. As long as it's action-packed, at least-- she likes explosions, fast cars, and violence. Peacock also loves to indulge herself with treats, too: She hates vegetables and loves junk food, and and is constantly seen smoking a fat cigar.

(If she drinks, it is for her own enjoyment, either just for fun or to enable her to ignore her feelings. She tends to act very silly when tipsy, wobbling about. She takes this to exaggerated levels sometimes, in line with her 'toony influence. Due to the efficient nature of her cyborg body, she must have a lot of alcohol in her system in order to feel its effects. Due in part to that reason and in part to her desire to look her definition of cool, Peacock prefers hard liquor. She seems to be partial to absinthe and whiskey in particular.)

'''Background:''' Once, Peacock was a normal young girl named Patricia. Orphaned in the anarchy after the Great War between the three countries between which she lived, she was captured and enslaved. Later, the girl was kidnapped by slave traders, who would go on to horribly mutilate her body. She survived only because she was quickly discovered by Dr. Avian of the Anti-Skullgirl Labs, an underground operation dedicated to finding a way to destroy the resident abomination of the world in which they lived.

The Labs took the girl in and rebuilt her as a cyborg, a living weapon armed to the teeth with biomechanical weaponry. Sadly, though the Labs fixed her body, they could not fix her mind. Her time in captivity, the torture she went through, and ASG Labs' experimentation had destroyed her sanity. She coped by concentrating on the cartoons she loved as a kid, but her memories were twisted and distorted. With the reality-bending technology now installed into her, Peacock reinvented herself and her powers as a brutal parody of a cartoon character. Nowadays, her own intentions are vague, but her current mission seems to be tracking down the latest Skullgirl who’s appeared in her world.

'''Appearance:''' [[http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs46/f/2009/202/8/2/Peacock_Portrait_by_oh8.jpg Peacock with her revolver and a George bomb.]] [[http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2011/090/f/d/peacock_action_portrait_by_oh8-d2qigab.jpg "Action" portrait with Avery up top.]]

'''Powers:''' A cyborg weapon, Peacock has a multitude of abilities. The majority of these are influenced by a cartoon aesthetic. By her lonesome, Peacock has an augmented body. She’s highly durable and flexible, partially due to her mechanical parts, partly to her squash-and-stretch nature. Her feet have holes in the soles, built-in rocket boots that Her arms are the most prominent cybernetics she has. Though she wears soft-looking, novelty sized gloves, the robotic hands underneath have an iron grip. Her arms are made of metal rods with three eyes attached at three joints on each arm.

Peacock sees out of these eyes, as well as a multitude of floating eyes she is capable of summoning. Her eyes can shoot lasers. Her summoning isn’t limited to this; she can pull out a veritable cornucopia of random objects from behind her back to fight with, and she can make an object appear from the sky to fall on top of her foe. The objects she drops tend to be a random object, usually what would seem most comedic to her at the time. She’s fond of pianos and other stock cartoon objects.

In addition to this, she has a gang of vicious cartoon cronies that she can summon to sic on an opponent. It’s comprised of: George the cherry bombs and their large, fat version Lenny, Andy Anvil the anvil with lanky limbs and boxing gloves, Tommy Ten Tons, a stout weight with a manly face, and Feta, the refrigerator with a mouth. One is always present: Peacock’s “sidekick” Avery, a tiny blue cartoon peacock who wears a matching outfit to his master and lives in her hat. None of her lackeys can talk, as far as anyone can tell.

'''Other:''' [[http://skullgirls.com/characters/peacock/ official profile]] In her canon she could likely be placed under Super Weight 3, but for the purposes of this RP I’ll be trying to play her around a 2, not curb stomping everyone with a lower weight or being godmoddy or anything like that. P: She’ll probably go without summoning her lackeys other than Avery, at least when inside the bar. This is more about interaction, anyway, seems like.

She loves junk food and junk entertainment, having a great fondness for cartoons in particular but also loving movies and TV. She causes property and bodily damage to others regularly.

* Her mind is broken, however. Significant trauma during her childhood has made her devoid of any real empathy towards others; in its place is a mean spirit and pleasure in cruelty that drives her to commit murderous acts. She isn’t completely without self-restraint, but her hair-trigger temper makes her volatile to be around.

'''Background:'''
* Once, Peacock was a normal young girl named Patricia. She was orphaned in the anarchy after the Great War between the three countries around which she lived. Not too long after that, the girl was kidnapped by slave traders, who would later horribly mutilate her body. She survived only because she was found by Dr. Avian of the Anti-Skullgirl Labs, an underground operation dedicated to finding a way to destroy their world’s resident abomination (the Skullgirl, a woman who tried to make a wish on the artifact known as the Skull Heart, was deemed impure, and cursed into becoming a PersonOfMassDestruction as a result).

* The Labs took the girl in and rebuilt her as a cyborg, a living weapon armed to the teeth with biomechanical weaponry. Sadly, though the Labs fixed her body, they could not fix her mind. Her time in captivity and the torture she went through destroyed her sanity. She coped by concentrating on the cartoons she loved as a kid, but her memories were twisted and distorted; the reality-bending technology installed into her took on a cartoon-like appearance as a result. Her intentions are vague, but her current mission seems to be finding the latest Skullgirl who’s appeared in the world.

'''Other:''' In her canon she could likely be placed on the upper echelons of Super Weight 3, but for the purposes of this RP I’ll be trying to play her around a 2, or at least not curb stomping everyone with a lower weight and being godmoddy. P: She’ll probably go without summoning her lackeys other than Avery.
