** YMMV it honestly seems like they went in with biases about the characters origins in the shoe commercial, and never bothered to actually check if they were accurate before shutting it down. It was joke to the network, the public, no one wanted it to begin with, or believed in it. And then the writers went rogue & just made it unusually anti-authority for the time period? Done.

* ScrewedByTheLawyers: Or rather the FCC, Zevo 3 contained characters with altered designs from the ads, who never mentioned shoes or buying things. They in fact frequently spoke out in a manner critical of both authority & on many occasions big business.
