** Kevin J. Anderson originally intended to use Skorr, [[Film/TheEmpireStrikesBack "the bounty hunter we ran into on Ord Mantell"]] who was featured in a story arc from the daily ''Star Wars'' comic strip running from 1979 to 1984)as the main villain of the third arc of the series. However, he created the similar character of Czethros instead after he was reminded that Skorr had been killed off at the end of the storyline that had featured him.
