However, because Ryukishi found that many players were having trouble with ''Turn'', he decided to lower the difficulty in order to give players more of a helping hand. * FlipFlopOfGod: In response to fan pressure to give up the solution, Ryuukishi07 has either given the [[AWizardDidIt fantasy explanation]] or challenged them to think it through themselves. These are pretty much the same statements the characters have given. He did end up giving the solutions (or most of them) in the manga though, which now [[BrokenBase divides the fanbase]] on whether or not it was the right choice. In a 2015 panel with Ryukishi at [=ACen=], he stated that after four years of writing ''Umineko'', he became more comfortable with giving out more hints in the manga.

* The magical text that appears in the VisualNovel when the Siestas attack is Japanese transliterated into the Greek alphabet. If you translate it into English, you get:

Another is that [[spoiler:part of ''Land'' was to be purportedly narrated from Yasu's point of view, as the "baby from 19 years ago" plot thread later repurposed for ''End'' was intended to be introduced here.]] Additionally, [[spoiler: it's said that this was to be the intended first appearace of "Black Battler", Battler's EvilDoppelganger, suggesting that Battler was going to be made out to be the culprit of that game, another idea that got repurposed for the man from 19 years ago in ''End'' while ''Banquet'' ended up using a similar idea with Eva in Battler's place.]] It was said to also have had a few clues that were very important for the mystery but, because of ''Land''s exclusion, were introduced as late as EP 5 and 6 canonically.
