** "Suspended In Dusk" was cut from Bloody Kisses (it's part of the leaked demos for the album with different lyrics), but included on the B-Side to "Christian Woman". The song is described as "Previously too embarrassed to release", which given Peter's notorious perfectionism, may be true. The song is a very slow paced song from the perspective of a vampire, which doesn't really have any chorus to it. Nevertheless, it did get included on the album's digipak version to make up for the removal of a number of other tracks, and was also on the Top Shelf reissue.

** The band recorded three songs for the Nativity In Black tribute to Black Sabbath in 1994. These were the original "Black Sabbath", a version with Peter's lyrics called "Black Sabbath (From The Satanic Perspective)", and a very slowed down arrangement of "Paranoid". The first of these was chosen for the tribute album, with "Paranoid" being included on the reissue of "The Origin Of The Feces" the same year, and Satanic Perspective becoming the b-side of "My Girlfriend's Girlfriend" a couple of years later (it would also be included on "The Least Worst Of" in 2000).
** "World Coming Down" had "12 Black Rainbows", "It's Never Enough" and "Stay Out Of My Dreams" which were all cut for making the album run too long for a CD. "12 Black Rainbows" was included on the Everything Dies CD single, before all three were included as new tracks on "The Least Worst Of" the next year.

* WorkingTitle: They originally called themselves Repulsion, then Subzero, before finding out both names were taken. Members had already gotten tattoos of Peter Steele's intended logo for Subzero, a zero with a minus symbol inside it, so now they had to come with a new name that would fit the symbol - thankfully, not long after, Peter happened to hear a PSA about donating type o negative blood on the radio.

----* CreatorBacklash: Peter Steele regretted posing for Playgirl after hearing from Kenny Hickey's contacts that women were only 23% of the magazine's subscribers. Still, he managed to [[EvenTheGuysWantHim attract a lot of men]] due to his vampiric [[BarbarianLonghair long-haired hunk]] appearance, to the point that he wrote "I Like Goils" about it.

* FamousAncestor: According to Peter Steele, his paternal grandfather's cousin was Joseph Stalin , which is why Peter took the name Steele. His grandfather hid this fact when he moved to the US - he took his wife's maiden name Ratajczyk instead of Jughashvili.

* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: Their demo tape under the name ''Repulsion'', which contained demos of the songs from ''Slow, Deep and Hard'', and the 'tape chewing' version of "Skip It" from the cassette version of ''World Coming Down''. However, neither of these circulate online, possibly due to the band's forum no longer existing.
