** The FanNickname of Ted's last name being "Porker" led Nick to tantalize fans by saying his ''actual'' name can't be revealed because it's a "spoiler". His name was eventually revealed in ''WebVideo/NightmareTime'' to be Ted Spankoffski; the element of it being a "spoiler" was because ''Theatre/NerdyPrudesMustDie'' was intended to be the third installment of the Hatchetfield series, and stars Ted's brother Peter Spankoffski, with the reveal that the two are brothers presumably having originally meant to come later down the line; the need to produce two season of ''Nightmare Time'' before ''Nerdy Prudes'' ever came out led to Ted's name being revealed before Peter's proper introduction.

* {{Defictionalization}}: The "Workin' Boys" gag has become so popular and demand for a "real" ''Workin' Boys'' so strong that Nick Lang has announced that some form of ''Workin' Boys'' content will be a stretch goal for the Starkid 10th Anniversary Kickstarter, as soon as he and Matt work out a viable way to extend the joke past one song.
