* WhatCouldHaveBeen: In the first few scripts and campfires the story [[WordOfGod The Author]] wrote was much different. Instead of {{Uplifted Animal}}s fighting for civil rights the 'Humanimals' were merely humans who were able to [[{{Animorphism}} transform into animals]] to fight off {{ Alien Inva|sion}}ders and {{Card Carrying Villain}}s in a vein similar to ''Manga/TokyoMewMew'' but with both boys and girls and not just limited to EndangeredSpecies. Matoaka, Minsk, Bill, Jim, Jordan and Bob were all there but they were very different; Matoaka was a ''very mild'' StrawFeminist, Bob had no PsychicPowers and was much more whiny, Jim was had a tendency to {{Wangst}} and Jordan was surprisingly more badass. (Unfortunately even back then The Author found she was coming off as a boring MarySue and she quickly started putting her OutOfFocus.) Oh and TheHero himself, Ichabod Crane? He barely existed at all in the original stories other then to be a SecretKeeper For the Humanimals. Probably the biggest reason the story got completely revamped was after seeing Creator/JamesCameron's ''Film/{{Avatar}}'', The Author was so disgusted by the blatant HumansAreTheRealMonsters message that she decided she would create a story with a more balanced HumansAreFlawed Message instead.
