* ScrewedByTheNetwork: As per usual for a Nicktoon that isn't WesternAnimation/SpongeBobSquarePants or [[DenserandWackier a remotely]] [[WesternAnimation/TheFairlyOddParents similar]] [[WesternAnimation/TheLoudHouse show]], with episodes being aired out of order, scheduling so haphazard that the only season would not finish its' run until ''three years'' after its' debut, and an entire second season being thrown into the gutter.

* ChannelHop: The series originally aired on Nickelodeon and the post 2012 episodes aired on Nicktoons. For some reason shortly after the show ended, it has been promoted as a Nick Jr. show, airing on the network's Noggin app on on the Nick Jr. channel on Pluto TV.
* DevelopmentHell: Production of the series took almost 3 years to finish, only for it to get a shaky under promoted start and eventually being cancelled.
* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: Outside of the DVD, iTunes, and Amazon Instant Video, it's extremely hard to find episodes of the show on the internet.
* MissingEpisode: A Better Marftrap (the ''real'' first episode of the series where [[spoiler: Robot and Monster first encounter Marf]]) and Monster Lie (a Perry-centric episode) are the only episodes of the series that never aired in the US. They aren't on iTunes or Amazon Instant Video, either. However, they are included on the show's DVD and were also briefly on Nick's website in 2013.

** If memory serves, Alan Tudyk had played the role of [[Film/IRobot another robot in another work of fiction]] long before voicing Crazy Cousin Gizmo.
