* RecycledSet: Though it could only be seen while queueing up for a haunted house at Theatre/HalloweenHorrorNights, the backside of the ride's building for a while retained a large door that said "WARNING: Twister Inside". However, it was painted over in 2019.

* ExecutiveMeddling: More or less the reason the ride came to fruition, as it was created out of Comcast's insistence that the park should contain more synergy with NBC.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: An early concept had the attraction being an overlay of ''Ride/TwisterRideItOut'', in which it would essentially be "Twister: UnderNewManagement", where Jimmy would interrupt Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt in the middle of their pre-show speeches, and then proceed to take over the attraction and do his own spin on it. It was later decided to make the new attraction its own thing.
