** The 1993 All-Star Special never reran on Nick GAS, most likely because it was an hour long instead of the usual half-hour. (It was available on VHS for a time in the mid-90s, though.) Plus, the 1995 special "The Making of ''Global GUTS'': The Road to the Extreme Arena" only aired on special days and was ''never'' released on VHS nor DVD. The series itself has yet to see a DVD release. A few episodes of ''Global Guts'' were available to buy on iTunes, but have since been removed.

Make the Grade was taped at Stage 18.

* ''GUTS'' was the only Nickelodeon show to use Soundstage 21 of Universal Studios while Nickelodeon Studios was operating in the Orlando theme park. Two other shows used the same stage before the park opened in 1990: ''[[Series/DoubleDare1986 Super Sloppy Double Dare]]'' and ''Series/MakeTheGrade''.

** At least one episode from the original series, Season 2's Angela Vs. Luke Vs. Natalie, is missing. It is not on any streaming services, nor was it rerun on Nick [=GaS=]. It was last rerun on October 25, 1998. It's unclear, as of right now, if there were any others of said original series.

It's been suggested (but unconfirmed) that the reason the episode is missing is due to a black eye that Natalie (the purple player) got before the episode was taped in a Basketball accident.

* CreatorBacklash: A former contestant[[note]]Sean Robinson[[/note]] did [[http://www.topshelfcomix.com/ts2.0/guts/ a webcomic]] about his experiences on the show in its first season, and how it affected him afterwards. The [[KidsAreCruel results]] weren't pretty [[note]]partially because of how the show handled his on stage "persona", mainly claiming he wore a dress to school as part of his rebel persona while also putting him into a competition ''with'' two girls[[/note]], and [[MyGreatestFailure haunted him for the rest of his life]].

Checked everything. Paramount+ has every episode of Season 2. Still no signs of My Family's got Guts.

Added DiffLines:

** Rescued with the lauch of Paramount+, which includes all episodes of the show (''Global GUTS'' is treated as a separate show rather than season 4 of it). ''My Family's got Guts'' is still missing entirely though.

* UnintentionalPeriodPiece: ''Good lord'', pretty much everyone who appeared on this show, from the contestants to the refs to the audience makes the show a time capsule for 90s fashion. Bright, primary, contrasting colors, neon green and pink shorts and tank tops, NinetiesHair abound... The list goes on and on. This isn't even getting into the show's aesthetics either. The TotallyRadical "extreme" theme, the "kaleidoscope" scene transitions, the nicknames the contestants are given... One could nickname this show "TheNineties: Kids Sports Edition" and not much would change. This even extends to some events featured on the show, with a few [[ProductPlacement using "sports" toys at the time]] like [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon_shoes Moon Shoes]].
